Good for 1080 but not 4k

It's a decent size screen, and displays 1080 well. The 4k seems to bleed colors. I've tried adjusting the color schemes after watching a show, during a show, and in between. The red becomes more dominant than expected, changing flesh tones during 4k streaming. Also concerning was the bezel/backing. I have it wall mounted, and after affixing the mounts the backing would visibly lift from the unit while holding the mounts. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but is certainly concerning while lifting to mount on the wall. This is my 3rd 4k screen, and the other 2 brands seem higher quality. However, if you are dedicated to an android lifestyle and no 4k then this tv works well. It has android built-in and is easy to attach to an account for apps and streaming.

Makes a good 4k PC Monitor

I wanted a TV that I could use as a 4k Monitor that would basically have pixels about the same size as four 27" 1080p monitors. Read reviews and found this TV to be a good inexpensive candidate. I bought it from Best Buy a couple of months ago in store before I had an account on their web site so I can't verify my purchase. Having used the TV as a monitor for a couple of months now, I like it. I sit about 3 feet from the screen. I turn the brightness way down so that the white background used in many applications isn't too blinding. As expect, the screen does appear a little dimmer at the outside edges due to the angle but it's not too bad. I sometimes have to turn the brightness back up for videos. The one big complaint I have is with the bluetooth. You only have two headphone options: "Headphone with Speakers" or "Headphone Only". If you are using bluetooth headphones, you must use the first option because bluetooth headphones replace the speakers and are disabled if you use the Headphone only option. Then if you loose your bluetooth connection, sound will start coming out of the speakers even if you have something plugged into the headphone jack. Perhaps loudly. We need an option to allow headphones and bluetooth but not speakers so that if the bluetooth connection drops, one doesn't end up disturbing others in the house. Perhaps they could fix this with a simple software update. As a result, I am still using a bluetooth transmitter plugged into the audio out (which I had hoped to get rid of with this bluetooth enabled TV). And a free suggestion for all TV manufacturers that could perhaps increase sales of TV as monitors and perhaps even in general: Add a "Use up close" option that allows one to specify approximately how far they are sitting from the TV and then automatically increase the brightness of the pixels as you move away from the center of the screen to compensate for the apparent brightness that one looses at the wider viewing angles. Perhaps you could pretty much eliminate the viewing angle being a problem for close up viewing. Perhaps could this also be done with some simple software changes.

Crappiest TV I ever bought! Hisense Sucks

Pure Garbage! The biggest peice of junk I ever bought. As soon as warranty expired, It has had constant problems turning on/off. Super slow to react, change channels or show Guide. I can’t believe how slow the processor is in this piece of junk! It has finally gotten to the point where it won’t change channels, show a guide or let us adjust volume. I’m pretty sure we’ll never buy another TV at Best Buy. The salesman said this TV was incredible! Must’ve had a Helluva spiff on it!

This is by far one of best purchases I've made at Best Buy! Hooked it up for Xbox One gaming and normal TV use and am not disappointed. The only flaw is one of the HDMI ports is almost non accessible on a fixed wall mount. So be careful if you wish to mount it, fixed. Aside from that you still have the 3 ports and other connectors on the right side. As for picture quality. Honestly I don't think it can be beat. The native 4k use on the Xbox One X made games look amazing. I would strongly suggest getting this TV.

Bought this tv last week and have not been dissatisfied. Inky black levels and colors that pop. Motion could be better but it's more than doable.

    Awesome when it works

This is a really good looking TV. The auto color display is nice, sound is good, & has all of my must have apps (Netflix, Disney+, Movies Anywhere, Hulu, etc). However, said apps also crash relatively often- probably a good 40% of the time and I’ve only had this TV for about 4 months. It’s definitely annoying to have to unplug/re-plug and wait for the TV to reboot. All in all, if you don’t mind getting up to do this routine every so often, it’s a fantastic deal. If you do, skip it.

It's got issues and not 100% PlayStore

So i was very excited to buy an android TV...until I got it home. The Play Store is not as extensive as you'd find on phone. Example: There is NO Spectrum TV App on the Hisense version of GPS..but it is available on Samsung phone. This for me is an issue. Picture quality is good when watching 4k content from my Amazon FireTV...but the upscaling of standard TV (even the HD channels 1080p) from me cable box...it's almost unwatchable.

    Needs work still

I bought 3 of these tv's for work displays showing our Nascar race sponsorships and our collaborations with YouTube stars and I was leary because the demo in the store looks horrible for the most part. I don't know who picks those out but wow what a bad demo. I ended up putting the LG and Sony demo on it that I downloaded in 4k on my USB stick and it looked pretty dang good. The Hisense demo is horrible the marketing department needs to be replaced on that one lol. Anyways one TV had a row of pixels go out after 3 days and the other two had such bad picture quality that It looked like 480p content. I ended up returning them and buying 2 tcl 6 series and a 5 series and wow what a difference. I had high hopes for the Hisense but they got a lot to figure out still unfortunately. My recommendation is not yet for hisense if you need a budget TV that seems like it will last go with something else.

I bought this TV upon suggestion from the salesman for 4k gaming only to find out it doesn't really support 4k gaming. But other than that it's a nice TV. Just doesn't fit my needs.
