Great TV and great service when receiving it. The TV has great color and is easy to use

If you can’t afford an upper tier TV from the big three, then this is definitely one of the best ways to go. This TV produces a nice bright, colorful picture, and it actually has the options to turn off the soap opera effect. On top of that, it is one of the few TVs on the market with legacy connections, so you can still hook up your old video game system from time to time if you’re feeling nostalgic. The built-in subwoofer really enhances the sound when coupled with the really good tv speakers.

Great 54in 4k TV that can compete with the best. For the size, high refresh rate for gaming, other features, & price you really can’t beat it.

Admit that I was hesitant to purchase Hisense brand! Evaluated many online reviews from experts and decided to pull the plug and purchased the U8 series 55” Hisense and can say that I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I needed a TV with smoothness for watching sports and also minimal glare due to several large windows. Both needs were conquered with this TV. Easy set up and no issues with setting up account for Google TV. I utilize the TV with a Sonos soundbar and not able to evaluate sound without a soundbar. Highly recommend!!!

This tv is great for watching movies and gaming. It gets BRIGHT. In dark scenes it does very well. Almost as if it were off

I bought the TV for brightness. It serves that purpose. It also has very loud speakers. Great Sound.

Picture quality is good, and sound is better than most built-in systems. If you really care about the smart features, be forewarned... it's hot trash. The latest Sling app won't run at all (never gets past the logo and appears to be crashing and restarting). Software update works but then the TV complains that it can't connect to the Internet shortly afterward. AppleTV app works fine in the few minutes I tested it. The setup was a nightmare due to software issues. What should take maybe 15 minutes took hours. This was purchased as a gift for my elderly mom today, so unfortunately I wasn't able to fully troubleshoot (didn't have my laptop with me). But my iPhone and iPad had no trouble with Internet connectivity on the same network, including running the Sling app. Fortunately mom has a Roku and that is still working great (including Sling). And that's exactly what you'll need if buying this TV: a streaming device that actually works. Unfortunately you'll still need the TV's OS to work in order to switch inputs, and I don't have high hopes here long term. I've been a software developer for 30 years and I've seen plenty of very bad software, but it's stunning to me that anyone would foist something this bad onto the average consumer. Glad I kept all the packaging because I'm expecting a return.

Beautiful picture as long as you have a source that brings that signal to the Tv. I stream to the built in app and the manager of the Clarksville IN store told me I would need to get a newer Apple Tv or another external streaming device. I returned the TV and Bought a less expensive TV that streams the same apps at the same resolution as the more expensive Hisense unit and saved $300, glad the manager told me that

Awesome picture once you get it dialed in a little, at times it is world class but does struggle in some scenarios, still for the price you will not get anything even close. Its just fun to watch, have never said that about a tv before, sit back and put it in sports mode and bask in some oversaturated glory haha

This TV has been the best purchase I’ve made in a while. From having gaming setting to the TV to the amazing built in sound system. Couldn’t have asked for a better tv for my room and great colors to everything too!
