Love my movie room TV my first ever 75 inch TV for my new movie room that I created

Love this TV. It has really good sound. The picture has bright colors and is very vivid. Would highly recommend this TV. It is great for the whole family and for gaming as well.

So far my experience with this tv is great, easy to assemble, has great sound and video quality, and easy setup instructions.

This was the first experience I’ve had with Google TV, and I did not like it at all. There were apps pre-downloaded that couldn’t be uninstalled, and there really wasn’t much free space on the hard drive for the ones that I normally use. So I ended up plugging in my ROKU and FIRECUBE so I could watch what I wanted. But if that would have been the only issue, I could have dealt with that. But I had issues with the television since Day 1. The picture would randomly go black for a quick second, and then come back on. I never knew when it was going to happen. Additionally, there were “fluctuations” going on in the picture on occasion that was hard not to notice (I don’t have a ceiling fan, so it’s not a shadow). I really had high hopes for this television, because it’s Hisense, and the Hisense 55” it was supposed to replace is still going strong after almost 4 years. I thought about just purchasing an extended warranty and having it repaired, but a brand new television should NOT be having issues right out of the box, so I returned it. (I tried to upload video clips showing the issues I’m referring to, but it will only allow me to upload pictures, which don’t show the problems.) It’s unfortunate, because the picture itself was beautiful, and the 75” size was like having my own personal movie theater, so I’m really disappointed that this fell short of the expectations I had of the Hisense brand.

TV started showing lines, I purchased insurance with the tv but for some reason there’s all of these loopholes they don’t mention when you buy it. Its been 3 weeks and I still haven’t been able to have someone come down to look at it , or replace it. I’m so disappointed with both Best Buy and Hisense 100% regret purchasing this TV it’s been nothing but problems for me.

Hello Everyone, Pros: Let me just start by saying This TV is Amazing and I think you should try it if you are in the market for a New TV and dont want to spend too much money!!! This TV simply smokes many of the LG, Samsung, or Sony tvs that are in the similar price range or even that are a little bit more expensive. Is it as good as an OLED? No, but it is pretty close! I was gonna buy an OLED but i was worried for Burn-in. I am so glad I bought Hisense U8H and saved a ton of money! I never bought a Hisense tv before this so this is my first Hisense TV. I was using a Samsung KS8000 before for my Game Room. I bought this Hisense U8H 4 months ago especially for Gaming and some Movie Watching. I currently have a 2016 Samsung KS8000 (Edge-Lit) and also a 2017 Sony X900F (Full-Array) paid double for both of these tvs and honestly U8H beats both of them as far as picture quality goes. Blacks are very deep even in the dark room. Believe me when I say this: This TV gets ridiculously BRIGHT!!! I didn't notice a whole lot of blooming. Only noticed it on some occasions but in comparison to my other TVs this U8H is sooooo much better!!! Gaming on it is super amazing, colors are Rich & Vibrant! I do not have the current consoles so I can't say anything about 120hz but upon reading different posts on reddit and after the latest firmware update it works perfectly fine. Sound Quality is pretty good for a TV (it has a 20W Subwoofer in the back). Software wise it is pretty good much faster/smoother than my other tvs. Motion is pretty good but I keep the motion settings off for my movies. Upscaling is good but I think Samsung and Sony upscale the older content much better. Remember: You have to turn "Enhanced Mode" to on for 120hz to work (there is plenty of information you can find on the internet and many YouTube videos about it) Cons: It does have color banding issue (which is still not fixed with a latest Firmware) that I've noticed in some games and movies but personally it doesn't bother me so if you are sensitive to that then keep this in mind before buying. Final thoughts: I think for me these are the only cons and overall this is a very good TV. Would I recommend to buy this TV? Absolutely YES!!! Try it and if you don't like it you can always return it. Also, If you get a bad unit don't worry just replace it! This getting a bad unit happens with every manufacturer (maybe I am not sure upon reading some reviews it happens more with Hisense I don't know, but I got lucky the first time) it happened to me in the past with Samsung & Sony as well. My grandson was swinging around a duster and it went flying out of his hand and the tip hit the screen which just spiderwebbed all over like broken glass. Unusable and unfixable. But the TV was great when it was alive lol. Great picture quality and huge screen. Just very delecate

This is the first TV I have ever bought for myself, and out of all the TVs I have used this is the best I've ever owned. The color grading and picture quality is shockingly impressive for the price, and the blacklight leakage in the dark was much less than I was expecting (Very minimal). I use this TV in a bright room during the day with lots of windows and it's bright enough to drown out most glare. Another thing I was impressed by was the built-in speakers with how loud they are in a large room, and the sound quality itself is very good for watching TV and playing games. The only downside of the built-in speakers would be playing music, which lacks a lot of bass, but that's expected from built-in speakers. One final thing to mention, is that I've heard people complain about the TV's latency and response time for gaming, but I haven't noticed any latency or slow response time personally from my experience with playing Forza and Fortnite on Xbox. Overall I'm very impressed and satisfied with the TV and I would most definitely buy from Hisense again in the future when I need a new TV. Would definitely recommend!
