I would have given this remote "5" except that it arrived with absolutely no useful instructions. It offers everything the original remote provided, but with a useful numerical pad that allows the user to punch in his favorite over-the-air stations. For a sub-channel, say 27-3, just press "2", "7", "TXT" then "3". Select two stations, then you can use the rotate arrow key to flip back and forth. The unit has other features that could have been described to the benefit of the user.
