Works great as an alarm, just tell Google what time and its done. We bought two more for kids rooms to "Broadcast" message to them. "Rise and Shine" is a favorite! Google is has a lot more information than Amazon.

They are awesome and perfect for listening to music in the shower, having Google update you on news and weather while getting ready for the day. Price is also great! I would recommend having Google Play. I can't wait to get my Google Home Max.

I like her better than Alexa...

The app is not as user-friendly compared to the Amazon Alexa app, but once you get the hang of it, it does the job! Also, this is a great device for playing music. The speaker is a much higher quality.
