Google - Home - White Slate fabric is great A+++++

placed it in area where my son does homework. He can now ask google for answers to his questions. Wife can ask google to play her favorite music. Easy to start but I need to learn more about all its capabilities.

Already had an Echo but I was not happy with answers, or lack of, that I would get from it. Bought google home and it is awesome at answering any question. My only grip is that it does not do bluetooth.

I bought Google Home for my husbands birthday but found that I enjoy it also. All you have to do is say "OK GOOGLE" and then give it a command. It will tell you weather, play music, answer questions...

It is easy to use for music, cooking help, spelling and so much more. I only gave it 4 stars because sometimes it talks when it wasn't asked a question and scares me. We also gave one as a gift for Christmas.

Google was purchased as a gift and it is so easy to use and very informative and fun. We also have Alexa and we found Google to be even better and much more responsive. You can't go wrong with this item.

This was purchased by my son as Christmas gift, he always gets me great gifts, love it, has answers to most questions, does recipes, sport questions and answers, and tons of other stuff. Says goodmorning to me and gives me the weather and news!!!. Also now gives me options to control things or check things are working, like a thermostat in my condo when I am away, ( if the AC isn't working I will be able to see the temp has gone up ), or turn lights up or down or off, and if I get round to buying all the things it can control = kettle / coffee maker etc. etc., just imagine!!!! Coffee or tea when you wake up, just with a voice command....so much you can do with this unit...

Went to Best Buy to purchase Amazon Alexa but they were out. Thank goodness they were out because we ended up taking home Google Home. This is a welcomed addition to our home and we highly recommend it!

This is a great little unit with great sound. I make it tell me a lot of jokes. Pandora plays well on it. I probably prefer the Alexa for the music abilities though. I haven't used it for home automation yet

The item does the basic functions that I ask but I know Google will have tremendous updates in the future so it does not become obsolete. Can't wait to be able to connect it to my home security system and pool

I have the echo dot which provides just enough of my needs until i tried the google home. Which offers about the same as the echo at a lower price. Not to mentioned more apps supports it. Good find!

This Google Assistant has been very helpful. Use it to broadcast from one room to another. Use it to play music and check the weather and also use it as my alarm to get up in the morning to music.

Gets the job done! Ensure that you tell google to go on mute b/c you then google is always "listening" for your next command. You ever know who is listening to your convos.

I bought it because I thought it would be neat but found out how much I love it quickly. My wife constantly plays music on it in the kitchen and it can even play my favorite podcast! It's a must own!

Thought we would try the latest fad, and were pleasantly surprised. The whole family loves it! Plays any song you can think of, answers questions and gets it right 99% of the time. Really handy to have.

Learning how to speak request for actions is a learning curve. Learning which apps are needed to get to functions is a learning curve. However, once there it is wonderful. Easiest functions to set up and use are the smart lights (my choice Hue), Netflix (chromecast required), Spotify (my choice). The Google Home Express and shopping list experience has been wonderful. Looking forward to more major grocery stores joining. After listening to many podcast on technology comparing smart home hubs Google was my choice based on their forward desire to be more A.I. in the future.

I was unsure whether to buy Google Home or Amazon Echo, I did some research on youtube and some random websites and decided to go with Google Home. I am happy with my decision. Google Home has become a part of my lifestyle. It may not give you answers all the time but for the most part it's pretty as it is based on the Google search engine. It's witty and comes pretty handy with standard tasks such as turning on/off the tv (with chomrecast ultra), lights, thermostat, setting up alarms, timers, making a call, play some trivia games, riddles etc. Sometimes I use it as an intercom with my Google mini. And I think with Google you can only expect it to get smarter with time.

Bought both the Google Home and the Echo dot. Love both of them. Google home seems to know more. Less issues overall. Haven't been able to connect it to my Phillips bridge but everything else is top notch.

I have several of these in our home, and I bought them for my parents house this Christmas. They're just as addicted to this thing as we were. So much fun and very useful for the entire home.

Bought this cause I wanted a fully automated home. It works flawlessly with my Phillips Hue bulbs, Nest thermostat, and washer and dryer. And being able to integrate IFTTT with it makes it even better
