The Google Home connected speaker is pretty amazing. Out of the box it's clear that Google intended it to be easy to setup and use. One of the few connected devices that really is plug it in an go all in under 5 minutes. The first thing that stood out was the sound quality. It's full and rich and the voice recognition is great! Even though it's small it still puts out some pretty amazing sound. So far, it hasn't had an issue recognizing anything I say nearby or even across the room. Very impressed! So far, I've used it to play music through YouTube Red and Pandora. I will say that Google has some work to do to get YouTube Red up to the same level as Pandora in terms of building radio stations as it mixes in artists and genres of music that don't fit what was requested. I've also used it for looking at my calendar, traffic and lists. Google is pretty dang intelligent when it comes to asking it questions. So far, it's found everything I've asked it. In the morning it's pretty cool to be able to ask it to play back the news casts to get a quick review of the latest news (which can be customized to your taste by simply being specific by asking for tech news for example as opposed to the latest news in general. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that it still has a ways to go in terms of connecting to other services like with WeMo bulbs and other internet services. It also is not capable at this time of connecting to more than one Google account. It's so new, I don't think it'll stay that way and Google will continue to expand and add to its capabilities as time goes and they have a chance to quality test it. For it being Google's first product like this, I'm overall pretty impressed and am going to get a couple more for other rooms in my home.

No problems, you can manage music, timers and so on, use it as a hub for all the other chromecast at home, it understands me even when I screw up and repeat words.

This was an easy setup and the app is easy to install. Plugin and upload, done! Just follow the tutorial and that is all you'll need to get started.

This Home product is amazing! It responds quickly and is very intuitive. Nice gadget to have around. It can offer more than just answering your questions.

Our entire family uses Google Home, whether to check the weather, sports scores, events on our shared calendar, traffic, or anything random like 'how many cups are in a gallon?' We also use it to maintain the household shopping list and the timer functionality when cooking. We bought this when we were visiting family, and someone had an Alexa Echo at their house. We put the two products side by side and found them to be very equal. The AI of the Google Home is marginally 'smarter' and more witty, but the Alexa had other benefits including integration to our Amazon Prime account and Music.

Much better sound quality than Echo base and infinitely better than the echo dot (which has horrible sound). Functionality otherwise is equivalent.

Google home voice recognition, speaker and connected apps are awesome. There isn't a day that I don't use my gh. Only wish I could personalize the name.

The Google home blends in well with other things on the kitchen counter, responds well to our requests. Remembers our preferences and is easy to use.

I love my google home. It was easy to set up and we have connected it to our lights which I love to turn them on before we get home.

Does Not have a Sleep Timer for music at bedtime.... Does stream to Chromecast and better voice interaction. Sound is good and home integration is getting better.

Very easy to set up, add smart devices like smart plugs. Speaker sound is very good, consider the small size. Google is adding more and more features.

Love this little thing. So convenient to be able to use voice control to ask google thing. hopefully they will improve the ability to handle multiple account soon.

Everyone should have one of these . I put it in my kitchen and the whole family uses it for everyday things like date , shopping list , weather etc.

We enjoy the music that we can play. Google Home is fairly knowledgeable, but not quite as good as Google on my iPad. It is a great value for the price.

Google Home works as one might expect. Is it better than Amazon's Echo? Yes, for basic information return. No, for home control. Overall a good product.

works great!! We link it up to our Spotify account and it is perfect for changing the song by voice command when we are cooking and our hands are dirty.

I got the Google Home mainly to be able to walk in the door and ask it to play music for me. I love being able to ask it questions too from weather to traffic.
