We decided to replace our Echo with Google Home. We liked the Google Assistant capabilities more than what Echo offered. The voice detection and integration with other smart devices was good enough on the home. Echo has a slight edge there. If you want to ask random questions or need general information this beats Echo hands down. If you need an assistant to order paper towels while the Home can Echo may be better. Great integration with our Android phones.

I got my Google Home Speaker on promotion, when it was priced the same as the Google "puck", a reduction of about 70% over the regular list price. The larger size, as compared to the small "puck", gives the Google Home Speaker much better bass response. The highs are also improved. Finally, the Smart Speaker seems to be more sensitive to my voice. It responds better when it is the closest speaker to my position.

I got a display and 4 minis. This speaker exceeds the sound of the mini by a mile.

Initially I bought Echo Dot having read that it has accumulated a lot of features. I wasn't happy with Echo as it didn't understand well my speech (I'm not a native speaker) and therefore there was a problem to issue even a simple command . I returned Echo and bought Google Home. I'm much happier with Home especially with its impressive speech recognition and its capability to answer general questions which is much better than Echo. I wish Home has out the box todo list.

Started off as a novelty item. Now it's become a "member of the family". Beats using the Clapper to control lights too.

Overall it's a great assistant. Highly recommend for people who like to google search or just to listen to good sounding music.

Fantastic buy for $29. I got two of them. The sound is great compared to the mini.

Speech recognition is amazing. Gets My voice and my 7 year old daughters voice perfectly fine. Speaker is great

I wanted to try this and was not disappointed. It works well and I got it at a good price since Best Buy price matched it.

Google does not know quite a few things, but works good as an intercom system and will play music on multiple googles.

My husband says it is the best thing I've ever bought. (Kidding). He loves talking to "Hey Google" and listening to the music.

The google home is Usable, easy, and fun. Worth the money alone as a Bluetooth speaker. Google is just a wonderful bonus

Makes things a bit easier I guess. Cool to just ask whatever I want or tell to turn off lights ( i have phillips hue).

Overall it's a pretty good product. The speaker is good and it makes for a good assistant. Would definitely recommend.

I was so pleased with the Google mini that I had to have the bigger one for the family room. the whole family loves it

I have Alexa as well, and i like this one better. Since it uses Google, its more likely to find what I'm looking for.

This was on someone's wishlist. So I picked it up for them. You can ask google a question and it'll give you an answer.
