Great Google product for the home

The design is different--more decoration like--and as of right now, they compliment each other. Alexa has the upper hand on integration at the moment, but we'll see how they both improve now that they're both available. Google's Home has more answers to most questions.

Great product which will get better with time!

It does all the basic things such as normal google searches, tells the date and time, add items to your shopping list and controlling home automation devices. Since the software exists in the cloud, this device will get smarter as google updates the software running the device. I highly recommend this device.

Good attempt to dethrone Alexa
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good: Good-looking design will integrate anywhere around the home, touchpanel controls, in-depth conversational and search-based results Not So Good: Less third-party app support than Amazon Echo, Assistant doesn't sound as good as Amazon Alexa, microphone pick-up limited when music is playing. Needs more refinement to match the Echo but neither are the best it can be due to the linkage to each Ecosystem.

Lacking in some areas
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cannot make calendar reminders, need chromcast to stream, or Samsung Smartthings to run your Sonos, and even if you got smartthings, you can't change to different tracks. If you have multiple Google homes for multiple rooms then your good. They are cheaper than a Sonos system, but there's no comparison to the sonos sound. All in all, it's a cool device, but when they get that new update it'll be fire.
