It's nice waking up and having it turn on music without my getting out of bed. It also sets a wake up alarm (or several) to wake me up each day. It's been a great addition to our lives, as we ask it questions throughout the day. On the downside, I wish it was less wordy. She talks too much sometimes.

Great device

There are a lot of features that continue to be added all the time. Our kids' favorite is the Mad Libs add-on. I do look forward to a full integration of Google's search and quick answer results, but imagine that this is just a matter of time. Also, I look forward to future smart home integrations.

Smart but needs a few more updates.

For example, on Amazon Echo (dot, etc), when you say "Hey Alexa" it makes a noise so you know it heard you. This device doesn't make any noise, so you just have to spout out your command/question and hope it all worked out. Other than that one thing it's been great.

Best gift we never knew we needed

Weather, music, news, sports scores, recipes and we've barely scratched the surface. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is sound quality. The sound, while good, doesn't measure up to other high end Bluetooth speaker devices. Get over the fact that it's always listening and move on with your life.
