Love the new toy great for my company for listening to music.

I received an Alexa for Christmas and traded it in for Google Home. I use Amazon for shopping, but not their music service and rarely their video services. In the end, I see Amazon as a vendor and Google as a developer. I've been completely satisfied. I am amazed at the speed at which my Google Play Music or Netflix requests are put into action.

We like the ease of use. Mostly used for music now.

I'm also the owner of an amazon echo... the Google Hone is my go to for questions and accessing random information, the echo is my go to for home automation control and listening to music.... until one or the other gets better I'll use both, they do play nice on the same network without issue.

I have both Echo and Google Home. Both are excellent products, but I have more Android devices and Google Play music so I'm moving to Home from Echo. The speaker quality and volume to me are about the same. If anything Echo has a slight edge right now with 3rd party support, but Google has already announced several key integrations with additional 3rd parties.

Relatively new so google homes capabilities aren't on the level of the echo but there's promise. Hopefully in updates it'll allow you to sync more than one gmail account. Google home has pretty good range and can receive your prompt from a pretty good distance. If you have the echo you probably won't like the home due to its limited capabilities at the moment.

Waited for this to be released in order to start my smart home. So far so good... Hue and Chromecast work fantastic, useful conversational responses. Although it's still lacking with regards to calendar, reminders and email, I'm willing to wait it out as what it does now, it does well. Get one, temper your expectations, and enjoy your new addition to the home.

So far I really have only used Google Home to listen to music. The sound is great. If it's linked to a music service you can easily request songs. Other then that I don't use many of the other features so I am not sure if it's really a needed tect device at this point. But it's fun for music!

I like the first google home but the mini is better.

So far we have enjoyed using Google Home as a toy. We have four Philips Hue bulbs and does a good job of controlling them. The one frustrating thing is that I haven't found any user guide of things the Google Home can do. It does pretty good when you ask it questions, or ask it to play a song. It's one of those things the more you use it, the better it gets.

This thing is amazing. It is cool how you can talk to it.
