Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were looking for the " original" , competing product and stumbled upon this one...we are still trying to figure out the more indepth techniques to educate on "our" preferences but have found this to be more user friendly for novices ( we purchased this one AND the competitor and compared)

So far it is not. Cannot answer thew range of questions My Google can and we do not yet have enough interoperable accessories to take advantage of the home automation benefits. Time will tell.

Love the Google Home Assistant

We have it on a corner shelf in a room that is centrally located and Google "wakes up" on demand even from another room! The same questions are repeated when playing trivia games, however, so maybe a little work on that is needed. Otherwise, great product with many uses.

Good but needs improvement

We use it to play music and set timers when cooking food. We occasionally ask it questions but it still struggles with providing detailed info. I can see Google continuing to improve this over time, but it's not completely there yet.
