I am using echo spot and google home for a month now and surely i would go with google home. It has good sound system and does have variety of options for music and news. Still it can improve in areas such as control of android tv and apps (adoption).

Bought this as a holiday gift. Amazing find, the reviews were right. Set up takes a while but it's worth it. Note that this only works with your TV with a chrome cast, so if you're looking to do all the cool stuff it can, consider getting a chrome cast too.

Great product developed by Google. There are few things which I would like to see improved: 1. More apps developed to work with Google Home 2. Better voice recognition (sometimes you have to say "Hey Google" twice/thrice for the Home to respond)

The google home is more responsive and has more features available compared to the amazon alexa. Tried alexa first and was disappointed with additional fees and limited functionality. Google Assistant was what my wife and I were expecting from day one.

What a great accessory for the modern home. Simple voice commands to start music, get news, weather, traffic updates. Set alarms, timers or start Chromecast. Microphone picks up your voice from across the room without shouting. Even understands my 5 year old.

Google Home made my holiday special, "ok google, play Christmas music", and "ok google, what's the temperature", and many more I am learning everyday that this little wonder can do. To have this hands-free available at any time makes my life genuinely easier.

The Google Home was free because of the dollar amount that I spent for a dishwasher and range. I never would have bought one but it's been fun. We're still learning its eccentricities and we've found out a couple of things too...like why tomatoes split on the vine.

Overall the product does what it says. I was disappointed with the translation features however. I solely bought this product to use as translator. It does a great job translating from English to Korean however it does not know how to translate from Korean to English.

Pro: search engine, news availability and option to choose. Able to make calls via Google voice Cons: hardware (mics and speakers) not as good as Amazon Echo, reminder not as functional as Amazon Alexa,

While we really like the Google Home, it is still a developing product. It has many interesting capabilities but it takes some time to learn how to ask questions to get responses. Also capabilities are continually being added. Would definitely recommend the Google Home.

Been having it for a few weeks, so far it works great. I was undecided between the Amazon echo and this. Glad I bought this, Echo had a 50% price off not too long after I bought it. We connected the google Home with the Chromecast and living room lamp.

This is something that anyone would love to have. It’s a great intertainer .you can ask anything and you will get the answer you want.you name it google is there for you.I wouldn’t trade it for anything.you’re # 1 in my book.Thanks

Google home is amazing. We have had the Amazon Echo since it was first released and although it is nice to have, the Google home out preforms it in just about every way. The one feature it is missing is the calling ability but that is supposed to be coming soon.

I really wanted to love this product. I do love the conversation aspect of google and prefer talking to google home than amazon Echo. You can ask a follow-up question and it has cute answers to questions. It is lacking in functionality though. Pros: Better understanding than amazon Echos. Fun responses Can change voice of assistant Links google calendar and other google products. Responds quicker than echo. Don't have to enable skills like the echo. Cons: Doesn't control as many devices as echo. Doesn't make calls to contacts and other google homes like Echo. (this was huge with me because it can't be used as an intercom). Only 2 models Can't order from amazon on the device.

I seriously expected more from Google Home. "Contextual" feature could certainly be improved. I suppose the available features will improved over time. The great plus point is that it works nicely with Chromecast.

I had a soundbar in my kitchen break and was hoping that the Google Home would be a good replacement. The smart home functionality has been really good but the sound quality is only okay. Sounds a bit like a couple bluetooth portable speakers that I have.

In my opinion, this beats the Amazon Echo. The AI interaction is fluid compared to its competition. Pretty nice design too it seamlessly fits in with your decors anywhere you place it. With more and more app integrations, easily a 5 star for me.

Bought this to replace my wife’s Granny’s telephone. Very smart idea considering the scammers out there trying to take advantage of the elderly. Only knock, incoming calls would be nice. But you can connect a google voice number for outbound calls.

google home is fun at the beginning, but after a couple weeks, you feel the need to do more with it. More features will come hopefully it is easy to configure.

We love the Google Home..! We have the Amazon and the Google but I think that when you have a genuine question the Google Home is much better at finding the answer. Music..pretty much the same. I like the Google Home and know it has a lot of room to grow.
