I have greatly enjoyed the Google Home thus far. However, if you are looking for something to control all of your smart home devices, the Home does not yet control as many different devices as Amazon's Alexa.

I choose it over the echo because it can control the chromcast that I already had. I have it in the family room and I almost have to “yell” in order for it to pick up my voice when the TV is on...

Went in to buy an Echo, salesperson suggested the Google Home. Has some limitations (she is still learning) but convenient and fun to have. My teenage kids and their friends love it the most.

Works as good if not better then my echo but not as polished as echo when it comes to working with home smart devices. I am sure over time it will catch up but as of right now I would give the nod to Echo.

I mainly got this to control my wifi lights. I wish it was easily compatible with my harmony remote. I looked up how to connect the harmony, and went through the process but the devices wouldn't pair.

Products works okay, for the product to function to its max, I think you have to go online and update your profile info. I get allot of I Don't understand type responses. Overall cool product.

From home control to casting photos the Google home is the perfect living room companion. If you have trouble with commands, look at the instructions and see how other similar phrases work.

Cool but needs to be able to learn better or faster for older people. Mom was able to get weather and music. All other stuff she said she didn't learn yet,. But over all good for radio and weather news.

Before I got the the Google home I thought it was pointless but after a while it grows on you, it is something I don't need but now that I have it's actually a convience to have around the house.

The Google Home makes for an excellent in home AI butler. You can ask it to play music, cast videos to your TV via Chromecast and much more. I liked it so much i bought a second one for the house.

it does not take too much effort to set up this wonderful tool as long as you have Gmail account and with either smartphone or tablet you can set up within 5 minutes and you can use it immediately

I bought this item for my mom for Christmas. We love asking it questions. We played Christmas music all day and now use it for cooking or cleaning music. It has great volume and responds quickly.

I have an Echo dot already and wanted to compare. Both have their strengths/weaknesses. Google home does allow queries on traffic, etc. using Google Maps so I still find it valuable to have both.

I'm pretty impressed with the Google home overall. Just hoping that future updates make it more usable with your phone. Not much to do yet but the update is in where it is recognizing individual users.

If you have a YouTube red or google music subscription it's really nice just being able to ask for a video to go to a chrome cast or a song to be played on the speaker or the chrome cast through the device

My husband surprised me with this for Christmas. I was really surprised with how much I liked it. Extremely intelligent, speakers were loud when we played music, very well made. Worth the money.

I've been a big fan of the Google assistant for a while, and the Google Home is a great adaptation for a whole home. I can't wait to see all the cool new features they add in future updates!

Hey Google is a fantastic addition to the Home. We have actually taken Google with us to our vacation home. Answers all our important questions without going to our phone or computers.

Google home is a great tool for everyday life. We connected it to our outdoor string lights in our backyard to turn them on and off. Works prefectly!

Google home is a great product. I love using it to keep track of my shopping list. It gives me a report on my drive to work and a weather summary. I use it with my iPhone 7 and have no issues.
