Customers are impressed with the Twin Percussion Pro Massager with Heat's ability to provide soothing heat and effective back pain relief, praising its long handle for ease of use and the variety of attachments. However, some customers found the massager to be heavy and bulky, and others noted that it could be quite loud and that its power level might not meet everyone's expectations. The device's performance and longevity were also subjects of some concern among users.

IT'S A PAPERWEIGHT - STAY CLEAR AND AWAY FROM THIS

IF I COULD AWARD "ZERO STARS", I WOULD.
GARBAGE. STRAIGHT UP TRASH. This thing did NOT even finish the first massage, that is how terrible it is. It worked for all of three minutes, and then stopped working. Now I am stuck with an overglorified paperweight that didn't even massage in the first place!
Homedics USED TO make great products. Now? I'd stay clear away from them. What a waste of time and money...

Homedics Hand Held Massager With Optional Heat

This Homedics hand held massager in black is fantastic especially with the added benefit of optional heat! It has just the right amount of vibration without being too rough on sensitive areas like the neck or feet and being able to add heat if needed makes it even better. A must have gadget for sore muscles and relaxation!

Works best to- tired muscles especially after work.
Duration- almost 15-20 mins to start feeling the effect to involved muscle group.
Heat ON- transmits better sensation
Intensity- depends on your liking, i prefer level 3
Nozzle heads- you have to experiment which works for you, i prefer the round shape
Slightly heavy
A new design would be better if the power switch is not too low to the handle, it's bound to happen to alter the setting or switch OFF by accident when in use.

Quieter than the old version, with 1 big drawback

My husband and I loved the power of the old version, him for his knees and me for my lower back. We had one that lasted for close to 10 years, and when the motor finally wore out, we bought another, which also lasted many years. Our biggest complaint about the older version was how loud it was. That problem was solved with this new version, but the one problem - and it's a big one - is that the power button is in a TERRIBLE place on the handle. It's right where you hold it if you're using the front grip, so it gets turned off and on wayyyyy to easily. Other than that, it's a great massager.

Arrived defective

I ordered this online and received it quickly, but when I plugged it in, it only made a little buzzing sound and vibrated just a little, and it didn't change no matter what setting it was on. The heat worked, but the massager didn't. I'm assuming this is defective because I had an older version that had a powerful massage. After many years of use it developed a short in the power cord, and only worked intermittently, so sadly I had to toss it. This massager is still really heavy like my old one, but the grip handle isn't as ergonomic, and the plastic bits just seem like they are not as sturdy. Also,I should mention that this item was sent to me in a box with absolutely zero packing material. Just a box sloshing around inside a bigger box, also with no receipt or packing slip. Maybe it got damaged during shipping and that's why it won't work? I have no idea. I just wanted to exchange it for another one, but I need to return it by mail. I didn't see an exchange option for when returning an item by mail, however I was able to print a free shipping return label. So that's the one star.

I like this product as it heats up and seems to help my back muscles but it is heavy and to hold steady you need to use the handle

Thought handle would be too long, ended up a plus. The heat is a great benefit and the double head feature works so much better than one. All in all, two thumbs up.

Purchased this to replace my old one. The massage balls are plastic instead of a hard rubber. Handle is nice, comes in handy. Only thing I didn't like is the speeds are adjusted by a button. Only has 2 speeds when the old ones had a sliding speed adjuster.

A really good massager. I like how it has the different knob attachments! It is a bit heavy, but I usually rest it on whatever area I’m massaging (which puts more good pressure on the area) and use the handle to move it around. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase!

Pick the massager up for my back and I have to say it works I felt the difference right away. I use the massager at least 3 times a week. The only draw back it’s a little on the heavy side.

Only downside is that it is a bit loud. Regardless I am very glad I purchased it. Works very well. The heating option could be more well hot. The massager is wonderful and feels great.

This HoMedics massager works very well, better than $150+ fancy wireless massager. It delivers constant percussion with 3-step adjustable strength. The heated soft heads are especially effective for relaxing muscle. I purchased this massager due to trust of HoMedics brand, no regression at all.

This unit has a very powerful vibration motor. Paired with the heat me and my spouse loved the deep tissue massages it provides. But please take heed to the warning of how long you can use it. It can become painful if used to long. The weight distribution can also be an issue if you have small hands. if HomeMedics made a smaller unit that would be perfect.
Great product otherwise.

Got this to help me recover after standing for long hours. It’s kind of loud and can shut off easily if your hand is in the wrong position but it’s reliable and works well.

The massager is heavy yet powerful on targeted areas. I can barely feel the heat function. My main complaint is how loud this is. Other than that this is pretty nice, strong, and sturdy. The quality of the material is good quality. I only gave this a three star because of how loud it is and I cannot feel the heat function.

Does a really great job freeing up trapped nerves. Location of the button is a little annoying but the device is very effective if you get knots that don’t response to normal massage or heat
