I thought it was bigger. I didn't bother to open it to test it out. Didn't want to be stuck with something once I opened it so I returned it.

I empty it often. I've only had it for a month so can't speak to longevity.

Decent shredder

The shredder cuts the paper into very long strips

I felt unsecure to recycle paper in such conditions bacause anyone could put together the strips and read the private info.
