It moves a lot of air at full speed, but quiet enough to sleep with at the slowest speed. So far have not had to clean the filters, but love that I can instead of buying a new one. It's fairly tall, but we can still easily move it from room to room if needed.

Wanted an air purifier for animal dander and odors. Unit works well, very quiet and pushes a lot of air. Odor reduction is aided by a replaceable filter- if odors are strong, this unit may not be the best

We bought a Honeywell air genius 5. It helps clean the air in our home. That was important to us in the time of covid. Filters are washable so no need to buy new ones. It’s very quiet even on high speed.

Very quiet, easy to use air cleaning fan. Like the fact that I can clean the reusable filters, so not always spending more on filters. There is an additional pre-filter enclosed that is not washable but gets better screening of large particles.

We bought this for our downstairs living/dining/kitchen area which is approximately 350 square feet, a tad larger than what this unit is rated for. Even despite the larger room size this unit has done wonders! The air downstairs feels more fresh and takes the "stuffyness" out. We have neighbors who smoke outside and sometimes that smoke would find its way into our home, however, with this now running 24/7 we have not smelled any smoke since. The unit is easy to set up and comes with an additional filter to combat odors. All in all we are very happy with our purchase and are looking at another Honeywell air purifying system to put in our upstairs.

The unit cleans the air very well and the oscillation feature really keeps the air circulating. Unlike other air cleaners who have costly replacement features, the main filter is washable. It comes with a washable pre-filter or you can buy an optional replaceable carbon filter that runs around $20 for two.

I go to college in the LA area and am using this to help with the ongoing fires and smoke issues. I'm asthmatic so I have to be careful. My apartment has become an oasis for me, full of nice, clean air. It runs quiet and keeps our place clean. It has a permanent filter and also disposable filters.

We bought this on sale, and definitely don't regret our decision. Our previous air filter was much louder, so it was hard to converse or watch TV with it on high. With the Air genius, you can definitely hear it on max, but it's not nearly as disruptive. I also like the idea of washable filter so I don't have to buys replacements, but I am concerned that, because it works using static charge, that some particles will get through anyway. However, it seems to be doing a great job of keeping my wife's allergies at bay.

This allergy season has already been kicking me hard, and I had purchased a Winix cabinet HEPA filtered air cleaner last year, but it clearly wasn't up to the task. Pros: Quiet: The Noise level on sleep setting really is just at whisper level. Even on the highest setting it is about half the noise level of my Winix. Filter indicator: it has a display that shows the filter condition BEFORE It needs to be replaced or cleaned. This is a sore subject for me, as the previous unit I had would just stop working with a "replace filter" light. This is much better thought out. Effective for allergens: This is working very effectively at removing the pollen, which is my primary concern. Compact: The unit is heavy, but packs a lot of cleaning and very strong fans into a small cabinet. It is 1/3 the physical size of my Winix, but performs better on everything EXCEPT VOC's where the Winix unit does do a better job. Things like perfume or hairspray will linger longer with the Honeywell, but they DO go away. Cons: There are a lot of LEDS in this thing, all of which are really helpful for seeing at a glance what functions you've selected. That said; some people that require absolute darkness to sleep will find this a bit bright. It doesn't bother me, but I've seen reviews on the Winix air cleaner with fewer lights get pinged for too bright. YMMV.

Love this! It’s quiet, easy to use, the room smells great! We dog sat and needed to clear out the doors after. It has options; ambient light, levels of filtration, motion or not. Only thing missing is blue tooth capable. But I do LOVE this!

Nice asthetics, low noise and seems to work very well. Easy start, right ou of the box. My wife has alergies and we have dogs, you could tell the difference in the air almost immediately. The homey dog smell and air quality changed, for the better. Room stays fresh! 5 settings, good air flow. Make sure you have space 6" all the way around, so it says for good air flow. I'd definetely recommend for room size designated. larger space may not be as effective.

Quiet and efficient. Oscillation is a great feature. Really helps clear the air of allergens and odors. Control panel is easy to read and use. Accent lighting is a very nice touch.

I bought one for my mother who suffers from allergies. We had used a Therapure system, but it was loud and didn't seem to work too well. I was always cleaning the filter ( every other week or so and we don't smoke, have pets or kids so not that much dust, hair, etc... floating around ) and my mother was still getting allergies ( mostly sneezing, runny nose ). Since I bought this, very few sneezes, hardly any runny nose, I haven't had to clean the system in the last month and it's much quieter.

We recently moved to Eugene, OR. A fire flared up east of us and we had not gotten any air purifiers yet. Air quality quickly reached hazardous levels (they still are as I write this, and everyone is being told to stay indoors). The smoke arrived overnight while we were asleep. Our windows were open (the smoke had not been predicted and was due to a sudden unexpected wind change). By the time we awakened, our apartment reeked very heavily of smoke. I wanted to buy 3 purifiers for our thousand square foot apartment, but an internet search and some phone calls found only a single in-stock purifier of any make in the entire Eugene-Springfield area. I quickly bought it on line at BestBuy and went to pick it up. We started in the living areas, and then moved to the other rooms. In about 10 hours, this single unit rated for medium-sized rooms made our entire apartment smell fresh with no trace of smoke. So, it worked well, is whisper quiet at low speed, and no louder than a small fan at high speed.

This specific Honeywell Air purifier is an outstanding Quiet, Lightweight, Digital machine that does a tremendous job cleaning the Air in my home. I purchased two of them & they keep the rooms that they occupy very fresh & allergy free.... I like the timing options, lighting, the fact that it oscillates and has different speeds/modes for specific purposes. Great for any sized bedroom or medium sized living room. (Around 800-sqft)

I chose this unit because it had 5 fan speeds. It turns out the lowest setting is really quiet, just right for sleeping. I live in an extremely dusty area, an my allergies really stuff me up at night. Since I started using this unit I have been free of the sore throats and stuffy nose. I have tried it in my living room and I can tell it helps, but my home has a lot of open areas and this unit is not enough to do the whole house. I really like it and would recommend it for people who have allergy issues and dusty environments.

probably pricier then it should be but has a nice cool breeze for sleeping. just do not like the lights ontop that light up my whole room but i just cover it

Good air purifier that oscillates and gets the whole room! Clean and reuse filter is a plus!! A bit pricey though.

I live with a chef who cooks with a lot of very pungent ingredients. Our HVAC sucks in air from the kitchen and dumps it in my room. I've been to 3rd world countries that smelled better than it did in my room! I was getting sick from the smell, and started breathing less deeply because it was so hard to inhale with how bad the air smelled. Every day I would open my window and try and air out my room. My bedroom window doesn't get much air and my room is a bit small. I did a little research and found this air purifier. Holy cow what a difference! I like that the filters can be cleaned and that I don't have to buy new filters all the time. This oscillates but I don't need that. It also has an ambient light at the base which I also don't need. Thankfully the lights on top aren't bright enough to keep me awake at night. It also has 5 different levels of cleaning so during cold season, it will kill germs and (potentially) keep you from getting colds/flu. I have literally lost weight because I can actually breathe deeply again. My only regret is I wish I had this years ago.

This is a really good product and much cheaper than a Dyson unit. I was pleasantly surprised how well it works. I put it in my living room and dust just falls to the floor. Even though we do not have an open floor plan, it still helps eliminate smells from cooking so you don't wake up the next morning remembering what you made for dinner. It comes with a cleanable/re-usable filter and a standard filter. We are doing some renovations so the standard filter didn't last three months but you can get a replacement next day. I would highly recommend this unit.
