Purchased for use in a large bedroom, and it's ultra quiet so it can run all the time. Multi settings are handy, but probably not necessary. Pleasantly surprised that the filter hasn't needed to be changed with the amount of pet dander in our home. The only con is it's a little pricey.

This model is discontinued, but a solid choice for the money...check around for price matching. Use the optional charcoal filter, it really does reduce odors. I haven't washed the filter yet, but easy procedure...and free. The only real complaint is there is no way to turn off the display lights. In a bedroom, it's very bright. I covered with black cardboard.

I bought this air purifier because my husband and I have year-round allergies. The unit seems to work because my husband and I are not sneezing a lot anymore. I like the white noise the unit produces because it actually helps me sleep at night. If this unit helps me keep COVID out of my home, it will be a blessing.

Wanted an air purifier for animal dander and odors. Unit works well, very quiet and pushes a lot of air. Odor reduction is aided by a replaceable filter- if odors are strong, this unit may not be the best

Works great so far clearing the smoke from the Nevada/California forest fires. The main reason I bought it was the good ranking from Consumer Reports and their comment that it was quiet and effective even on its lowest setting.

Honeywell air purifier is my first to use. It is light weight to move easily, it blends in where I place it, is quiet and peaceful and will be easy to clean the filter. The air definitely feels cleaner and has greatly improved coughing due to pollen.

I am really impressed with this product. Moved into a dusty room with no windows and could not believe the difference this purifier made. Within a few hours of running the air smelled better and helped clear up my stuffy nose. It is very quiet and I love the accent light on it. Would definitely buy again. I was really happy to get it on a good sale as well at best buy. I highly recommend this product.

I cannot speak to the usefulness of the air filter as I'm not quite sure how to gauge that, however I can say that it is quiet, sleek, and does not stick out in any room I've placed it. I bought an older house that was unoccupied for some time and was hoping a few of these would help with dust. Seems to be working as far as I can tell. Might be a little more expensive than other equivalents

The AirGenius5 works well...for the cost I wish it came with a remote. Even though you can set the timer; I would like to have the option to use a remote once you have gotten into bed for the night or just in the family room watching tv. You have to get up to turn it back on, stop the oscillating or reset the timer. Other than that...I love it.

I love the AirGenius5 for how crisp it makes the air seem as well as its blue accent lighting. However, the device only oscillates quietly for about a minute before it starts to make noise, but If you leave it stationary it works great. I wouldn't pay full retail at $250 though. Wait for a good deal and price-match it. I've found at least one retailer almost always has a lower price than BestBuy's sale prices on this Honeywell AirGenius5.

After the first night there was a noticeable difference. My wife has chronic congestion. It was not something that she wanted, but after the first night she was sold. She woke up feeling better. We have been using it for about a month now and it is still performing well. I chose Honeywell because I have had their HEPA filters before and know the quality behind the name.

I could feel the difference in the air shortly after turning this on. I will buy this again as a gift for family. Love it. No filters to buy just wash then and reuse

Love the air cleaner,it cools and at the same time cleans the air plus you can remove the filter and clean it and put it back...but gotta see since I only had it a couple of month and it lets you know when it need to be replace (technically just wash it)

Compact and quiet air purifier tower. works great in the bedroom. Sleep mode is quiet also. Can tell a difference in the bedroom. Very happy. Having 2 dogs this tower has been great help.

I live in an apartment and I would often come home to the smell of smoke that had permeated through the walls from my neighbor's apartment. Since I started running this unit, the smell of smoke is gone. The air feels so much cleaner and I have been sleeping better.

I could tell a difference within hours. As other reviewers noted, the room smells so much fresher! I put it in a large carpeted master bedroom, and it's very effective. I sleep with a long hair cat that I love, but my allergies don't love the pet dander. This purifer has truly helped! I don't wake with irritated eyes and congestion

I love that it oscillates to freshen all of the air in my room. It does the job quickly, even on a Level 3. Level 5 is like magic!

Quiet operation. Easily change settings. Helps keep dust down.
