Can't recommend it enough. I bought this a year ago and its been running 24/7 since. Just replaced the HEPA filters for the first time. Doubles as an excellent white noise machine.

This was on sale for the Deal of the Day. I paid less than Two Hundred after taxes here in CA, which is no higher than I would pay for this unit. It does clean and filter the air amazingly well. The pre-filter is made with activated carbon, and it def helps get rid of some smell pretty well. It also helps preserve the hepa filters to make them last about a year. Yes, the hepa filters (3 of them) are VERY expensive to replace every year, but they really are worth it if you have an old home like mine without any central air system that filters the air inside your home. On other online websites that Best Buy will price match, you can get a three hepa filter pack for about $60. Not a bad deal for better health and a cleaner house.

The cook burnt dinner!! Turn the filter on turbo the odors are gone in minutes. Allergies are no more since I leave the filter on low all night long. Definitely get the bigger filter that takes the three filter cartridges because on low you can barely hear the fan and you get really good air flow.

Honeywell - True HEPA Console 465 Sq. Ft. Air Purifier - Black I've only had the unit for less than a month, so due time will tell how this turns out. I rated this with 4 STARS only because it's a little big and pricey. I have been looking at Wal*Mart to purchase one of these air purifiers but didn't because it was a little too costly - Then Best Buy had them on sale so I bought one and love it. I have it in the basement to get rid of the basement smells and it does what it's advertised to do. I'm hoping it will also help cut down on dust floating in the air so I don't have to dust so often. I liked the unit so much and it just so happened that Best Buy ran this unit on sale a second time on the Deal of The Day and I bought a second unit and have it upstairs in hopes it will cut down on dust. I have allergies and never open the windows so my hopes are that this will improve my health and keep the inside air cleaner in the Manor. I'd recommend to anyone wanting clean fresh air. Enjoy

It got the job done! This alone deserves 4 stars. My daughter had a friend over. The first night she had a really bad stuffy nose. I had this running in the room for a few hours the next day and the friend's stuffy nose was practically gone that night. The unit is reasonably quite and compact so no complain there. The only think I don't like is that the touch panel doesn't really give me the confidence that the unit has switched to what I wanted it to do. I always have to watch the lights and not every point in the panel responses equally well.

so we've got this one and the smaller smarter bluetooth version. this one came with the filters included - our bluetooth one bought a while ago, apparently was supposed to have all the filters needed but didn't. this one was good to go from the get go. it isn't as noisy as we expected but we haven't used it on full out mode yet. it has fewer features but that isn't a problem for us. it is bigger - quite a lot bigger but seems to fit in the dimensions they stated. we got what we were expecting, it came promptly, it survived the shipping process so nothing to complain about. I don't give it 5 stars because I prefer the bluetooth version which is smaller, but this one was cheaper and less full featured and I got what i expected and I guess what we paid for

We run this 24/7. We have two keep one in the babies room due to having 3 dogs and man these things work collect all the smells and dog dander along with hair. We clean the fronts daily due to how much hair they pull from the floor and air. Love this thing. Quiet and easy to operate, room smells fresher too. We bought this for our large master bedroom. I like the three settings and the dimmer on the lights. We run it on the higher setting during day and the medium setting at night. Does not disturb our sleep or interfere with watching tv. My husband has mild allergies to dust and this really helps.

This is my first air purifier. I did some research this one seemed the best for my needs. I'm using this for a room a little smaller than 465 sf and I run it on ALLERGEN all day and the lowest setting GERM at night. I run it on GENERAL CLEAN if I am light dusting, vacuuming, etc. and on TURBO when I'm doing heavy cleaning. I have noticed less dust, it's not completely gone, but I don't have more than I used to. The air seems fresher, it makes me a little sleepy which is a good sign that it is clean air. I want to get a smaller one for my bedroom, but Best Buy needs to come down more in price for the next size smaller HPA250 or get the HPA200 and offer for a decent price.

My allergies and related cough were much reduced almost immediately. Opened the box, easily installed the filters and hit the on switch. It is relatively quiet and moves a lit of air. I'm considering purchasing another unit to give my house total coverage. This air cleaner has worked as advertised and expected thus far.

I could tell the difference after the 1st 24 hours. Quiet operation and doesn't take up much space. Doing a good job keeping dust and normal household odors down.

Best on the market air purifier!! I got it on sale as well.. this size gets big living rooms clean!! Helped me breathe easier as I am allergic to household dust... must have for people with allergies !!!!

I guess it that it is good. seems to have relieved the air in my apartment of some of the odors dogs and storage stuff. seeing a lot less dust is the other thing i was hoping for. seems to be working.

This unit is installed downstairs in our home and we just installed the second upstairs. The amount of dust in the air is much less and my husband's allergies seem to be abating.

Bought an older house, then remodeled it with sheetrock dust flying everywhere. I also have two shedding dogs. Used to wake up with a cough almost every day. Bought three of these, 2 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs. I wake up feeling great, have WAY LESS DUST in my house and can simply smell the difference in the house! Great product! I'd definitely recommend to anyone experiencing similar issues. The one downside is this unit takes 3 HEPA filters but the replacement pack only comes with 2. Almost had a Clark Griswold moment when I figured that out.

We have a heavy shedding dog at home and my 20 month old son periodically has congested nose. We thought it would be better to keep the dog separate from his room and use an air purifier. This one has three HEPA filters and one carbon filter which I assumed would be more than sufficient to keep pet dander and in-house dust in control. It seems to work good. Since the day I got the air purifier ( about 3 weeks now) I am seeing that my son is sleeping well. I have not yet checked the filters but will do so in 3 months. I do own a couple of other Honeywell products and overall they make good appliances.

Seems to do a good job at cleaning the air. I noticed the air smells better at first but now I'm use to it. It's not to loud for a big unit either

I’ve had several Honeywell air cleaners in the past, and have had an excellent experience with all of them. Earlier bottles were often round and either set horizontally or vertically to the fan mechanism. This one is designed more like a tower. I love the finger touch controls, and the ability to select a time off after two, four, six, or eight hours. I especially like fan noise at night to help drown out outside sounds, so I sleep with the fan in the turbo mode. It does a great job of circulating the air in the room, and blocking barking dogs, which seem to be abundant in my neighborhood. I don’t really have allergies, so I can’t comment on its effectiveness for removing allergens. However, the three separate pleated HEPA filters look like they should be effective in removing small particles. The shape of this air cleaner fits into my living room and bedroom conveniently, and the black color makes it less obvious. It comes with extra charcoal pre-filters, which capture a lot of the general household dust floating in the air. You can periodically clean the dust from the prefilters with a good vacuum cleaner, and reuse them. About two weeks after buying the first unit, Best Buy had them on their deal of the day special again, and I decided to pick up one more for another room. By making various levels of white noise, these air cleaners are a tremendous aid to helping me get a good nights sleep. Since I’ve only had them for one and two months, I can’t comment on their durability. However my older Honeywell air cleaners all are still going well.

Got this for a good price. Very easy to use and works well to filter air. Filter can be vacuumed.

Would highly recommend, purifies air in large area, great for pets, quiet does not startle them...
