This machine cleans very well. It is hard to push. This model does not include the upholstery brush or crevice tool. It only has the tools needed to clean up pet messes. Hoover referred me to customer service where I could buy the additional tools. Once done cleaning hold the trigger down until all water drains.

I was concerned the carpet cleaner would be a real big chore with operation and cleaning. But surprisingly that’s not the case operation and cleaning are straightforward and super quick. Also the results are great I was shocked how clean it got my carpet with 3 cats And shocked how much pet hair is removed from the carpet During the cleaning process

I bought this to clean a condo unit that I manage. This helped take some of the smell out, as well as pick up a lot of dirt and other contaminants in the carpet. Very nice machine.

I have 5 kids and 2 dogs and was AMAZED at the amount of dirt this thing picked up! It got out syrup from my dining room that had been stuck there for at least a month or two. Plus all the spilled food and drinks from kids, mud the dogs had tracked in a few weeks ago, and nastiness our vacuum has been leaving behind!

I've used this a few times on our area rugs in our home and it definitely works. Very satisfying to see all the nasty you're removing from your living space. I also let a friend borrow it to clean the carpet in his apartment before he moved out. They had cat urine issues. He said the carpet cleaner with the pet additive worked like a charm.

After reading so many contradicting reviews, took the plunge after the puppy had an accident. Made the carpet look like new! The results were at least as good as a professional cleaning. Time will tell on how durable this machine is, but a friend has an older version that he has had for several years and it still works fine.

Our old carpet cleaner died on us after 5 great years of usage. We decided to purchase a new carpet cleaner for xmas. We did our research and this one had higher reviews than it's competitors. This by far is the best carpet cleaner I have ever used. I call it the little beast, because it gets the really tough stains out. I believe its better than the professional carpet cleaners.

We cleaned the floors on the entire downstairs of our house the day after we got our Hoover Power Elite. It was faster, easier and cleaned better than what we had been using. My granddaughter borrowed it the next day and did her floors and was very pleased with the results. We would recommend the Hoover Power Elite highly.
