cleans carpets well, does pretty much what they all do

Tired of paying high prices to have my carpet cleaned. Thought I would "take a shot" to do it myself. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised with my purchase of this product. It did a wonderful job of deep cleaning my carpet! Will never again pay to have it cleaned.

Two dogs and a crazy work schedule equals soiled carpets. The Hoover is easy to use and does a good job of getting out the stains. It is a bit heavy and will wear you out, but it will go for hours. It was a great buy and has paid for itself many times over.

Purchased to clean a one year old carpet that had some stains from kids and baby. Returned it to brand new state. Cleaning does take longer than expected and you do make a frequent amount of trips to the sink to flush dirty water out. Overall still 5 out of 5 stars.

It does a great job on the carpet. I love it so far.

It does work well. I can't tell is it does heat the water but it does dry well with several extra passes to suck the water. I really like that feature. It's already had a little leaking, which is disappointing but it seems that all home carpet cleaners under $200 do. I'm happy with it, but not thrilled.

My last Hoover power cleaner lasted over six years. It cleaned the carpets beautifully. This new Power Scrub Elite is even better. It is simple to use. I also noticed that the water in the tank and cleaning solution lasts longer. You don't have to constantly change tanks.

Easy-to-use Made my old carpeting look pretty good

Cleaned my plush white carpet very well, made it look like new, but only after using the Hoover Power Scrub for 3 weeks the brushes stopped spinning and it stopped sucking the water out of the carpet. I am definitely returning it.

Actually I spent few weeks searching for a proper clean machine to make my carpet better. My daughter starts to crawl so she usually plays on the ground. It is so nice for me to use it monthly. Also has a hot air blow to make washed carpet easier dry. Thank you Hoover!

The cleaner works very well, but with the tank mounted on the handle arm, when full it is rather heavy. Nice the brush head is easily removable for cleaning.

This is the newest version Hoover Carpet Cleaner , the Elite rated good by everyone....for this price level. It performed well. The only problem I have with this or even Bissille is the plastic pick up...I wish it was a more heavier grade to avoid damage...

Hoover is the BEST! I had a Hoover before and then purchased a Bissel...glad I switched back. The Bissel left soo much water in the carpet.

This is a pretty good carpet cleaner, although it isn't perfect. I find myself having to remove the dirty tank occasionally before it's full because the machine will stop extracting. Once I remove the tank and put it back, it seems to work fine.

I have shampooed my carpets twice already since purchasing this product. I have found that it is very effect at removing stains and cleaning up the odor left by my dog. Attachments for cleaning couch has been quite useful as well.
