The I used the liquid diluted with water and manually scrub with brush and the spot disappeared. I am not sure if it is as effective as the commercial machines but Inwas hoping to clean my carpet without having to pay for the commercial cleaning.

Not happy with product

I have used it sparingly so far. There is a bad leak coming from the back of the cleaner that makes it impossible to use now. The warranty is short so I cannot get it fixed. In my opinion it was a waste of $200.00. The product should last much longer than this, especially when it is used so little.

Went through 3 of these in less than 2 years. Normal home use. First one scrubbers stopped working within 2 months. Second one just stopped pumping water after sitting unused for a few months. Just got my third replacement and it won't hold water out of the box. Leaked an entire tank of water and cleaner while I was waiting to use it. Would definitely NOT recommend this to anyone. I'm so frustrated with this I will probably never buy another Hoover product.
