My Hoover died after 12 years of service (bag-less kind), needed to replace it with something that would work and also now that we had a pet (dog) handle hair and other stuff. This unit is quiet, has great suction power and can clean both carpet and hard wood floors. Has the air powered hand power tool that is handy, easy emptying and I have taken apart and washed it recently after a major vacuuming of the home. Had some questions and the toll free number on unit provided me with answers. I like the feature that you can shut the rolling beater brushes off on demand. Time will tell how long it lasts, but previous went above and beyond with 12 years. Price is high but you do get more than you paid for. No need to invest in those other vacs this one will do the job.

So we have this big ole baby of a Golden Lab mix that sheds like there is no tomorrow. We really needed a vacuum that was easy to clean out as the amount of hair required frequent mid vacuuming emptying. This vacuum so far is doing a great job it it. Another plus...we have multiple floor surfaces (tile, wood, and carpet). Having the ability to shut off the spinning rush actually help greatly on the solid surfaces - you don't have the dirt being whipping into your feet and legs as the brush spins faster than the vacuum can suck it up. This means all the dirt going into the tank and not across the floor. We did good with this one. As an FYI - our product review cited above was done at the store - as we considered the purchase. Gotta love them internets!

I love this vacuum, I use it least twice a week & it works like a charm. Didn't have 2 spend hundreds of dollars either. This is my Dyson, works just as good!!!

Literally took 2 minutes to put together..I vacuum everyday because I have a cat and a small dog, but when I used this today after it arrived I was amazed on how much I filled the canister just from one room!! My carpet actually feels so much softer and it really fluffed it up and made it look newer. Love it and the fact it was the Deal of the Day for only $59.99

I bought this vacuum for my daughter and put it together for her. She needed a new vacuum and this was a very good price. I was in the Office Cleaning business for 22 years and have bought many vacuums for the business. I've used many vacs that were five times the price as this and NONE had the power this vac has. I sure wish I'd have puchased two.

I have both carpet and tile floors in my house. This vacuum is perfect because it allows you to turn the spinning brush off for the tile/wood. It is so lightweight and easy to push and the detachable hose with onboard tools makes it very convenient and has a nice long cord. I have two dogs and three cats and it handles the job perfectly

I had a wind tunnel pro pet that I gave to my son when he moved out. I replaced it with the pro pet plus 3 and I love it. Gets golden retriever hair out of longer weave carpets.

Bought this just after we moved to the new house. Our old Hoover gave up on us (though we had cheaper model - under $100 - it served us well for 6 years or so) and we had a lot of cleaning up to do at our both old and new place. I cant recommend this enough to all of us guys out there (no offense to women, but I will get to that in a second). Really handy, suction is good,emptying it is a breeze (did not try to clean it yet, though can't imagine it will be any different), cable is nice and long, additional tools are nicely set in place and don't fly all over the place when you vacuum/carry the thing. We have 2 dogs in house and baby on the way, but this vacuum cleans everything right up. No repeats of same place necessary and 5 settings make it easy and fast to use on any surface, though why anyone would want to turn brush off is beyond me, that thing is beast (haha). On the downside, unit is pretty heavy. I actually bought it for my wife once she goes on maternity leave and all, but it looks like I will end up having to vacuum after all. It's not the lightest thing to carry around and even vacuuming takes a bit of strength (on carpets only - floors are a breeze thank to nice wheels). Another downside is power cable. Switch to roll it back is conveniently located at the bottom so you can press it with your foot, but (at least my unit) if cable is not straight it barely works and goes at turtle pace. It's actually so annoying, that I have to help it with my hands.. Little thing, but noticeable enough. All in all great vacuum for the price and I would recommend it to any and all.

It's a low-priced, super suction vacuum. The 40 ft. cord is a pain to manually rewind, but it has the advantage of getting everywhere. The suction is better than my $400 top-rated older Hoover model. In fact, it's so great on pet hair (I have cats), that I had to raise the carpet setting b/c the suction stopped the vac from moving (no kidding!!!). There a switch to changed between carpet and attachment setting. The vacuum is extremely noisy, but I don't care - I mostly CARE that it sucks everything up... and it does!! The filters prevent dust from getting in the air (yep, it works). My only quipp is that the bagless canister most be emptied frequently, as it's capacity is not that large - but this is NOT a big deal at all. Lastly, the spinning (belt-driven) stair attachment looks cheap, but it works very well. I'm glad I bought this!!!

I read the comments about comparing it to another brand. Well I am not going to do that, I can say that I like the hoover since it has a retractable cord (very convenient) it is a bit heavy for my wife to carry around or vacuum for a long time but overall it is great for the price, it is easy to clean, it is easy to take apart, easy to take the dirt out of it. I put the whole thing together in a matter of minutes. I have it at my office and it works great.

After 12 years of service with my Hoover that I had purchased. It finally gave its life willingly. So it was back to getting another one, another Hoover that is. I needed one with a powered attachment. Off to Best Buy found one that was what I needed. Best Buy was running the Hoover Summer Sale. Got this unit. First impressions much quieter than the old one, better suction, easy unload and empty of the bagless container, gets all the dog hair very easily, capability to shut off powered brush at will. Sorta a con -- the light up front is do dim it would not even scare the dog or cat (useless for light), self retracting cord is really lathargic on retraction, is see a future of it wont retract coming. Overall This Vac does NOT Suck as a machine but it does have great suction and works very well.

Got this vacuum after reading its good reviews and catching it on sale. This unit has great suction and it is not heavy as stated in other reviews. Now, it does have a bit of weight on it...but it is not much heavier than other units in its class. Love the retractable cord and the brush on/off option. One thing I would change about it is the front headlight could be brighter. Past units with headlights were bright enough to light a big path in front. This one is decent, but not great. If the light was brighter, I would have given it a 5 star rating. I don't have pets, but I could definitely see this working for those who do. I don't have stairs, so my wife hasn't complained. All that said, yes, I would recommend this.

We have two large dogs and a cat, so needless to say, we have an abundance of fur everywhere all the time. But this vacuum does a great job of sweeping it all up. It's easy to maneuver throughout the house, has great attachments for doing various different surfaces, like the couches (where our pets like to spend much of their time on), and it's easy to empty and clean out the canister. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who has pets, or even to people who don't have pets.

I purchased the Hoover - WindTunnel 3 Pro Pet HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum after we installed new carpet as our old vacuum did not have height settings. This Hoover has good suction and I am amazed how much dirt and dust I can get from a new carpet each week. The ability to use attachments is also a plus over my old vacuum. I am getting older and lazier and the retractable cord is a nice feature. The only negative to my upgrade is that the cord is not as long as with my old vacuum. This means a couple more outlet changes to vacuum our whole house.

I was in search of a new vacuum and this one happened to be on sale. The filter is washable so you don't have to buy a new one every 6 months or so. the cord is retractable, however it is about 5 feet shorter then my last vacuum. But I noticed that all new vacuums were now at that length. Picks up the dog and cat hair off off my rugs where my last vacuum took several passes and even then it didn't get it all. This one does! The attachments work pretty good.

Pros - Great suction power. Was amazed at how much dirt this vacuum picked up. I vacuum regularly with my old vacuum so this was a bit shocking. Easy to clean. One button release to empty canister. Cons - A bit on the heavy side. The cord does not go all the way back in when you push the button to retract. Figured this may be the case. But can deal with it.

My husband bought me this vacuum for Christmas since we have two inside cats. I noticed this morning while straightening out the cord to get it to roll back up, that it was very hot from the port hole that it rolls back up in and about 16 inches from the port hole down. The rest was cool. The coating on the cord felt kind of soft from being to hot. Other then that, it's a good vacuum for picking up pet hair. Hope my hubby still has the receipt so I can exchange it.

So, Best Buy emailed me a request to review my recent purchase. Ok let's do this. PRO: 1. Great suction 2. Easy to empty canister 3. Easy thumb on/off switch 4. Multiple attachments. 5. Retractable cord is cool. (it will whip your leg if not careful) CONS: 1. This beast is heavy. Like 25 lbs. 2. Wife won't vacuum upstairs if vacuum is downstairs. 3. Wife won't vacuum downstairs if vacuum is upstairs. 4. Wife won't vacuum stairs. What I'm trying to say fellas, you'll be doing a lot of vacuuming if you like to or not! Tell your wife you heard of the vacuum cleaner exercise on Pinterest! The exercise works best with heavy vacuums like this one! My wife didn't fall for it (she probably looked it up on the app). Seriously though, great vacuum that does a great job. Only wish it was lighter. My wife isn't weak but she doesn't want to tear her rotator cuff vacuuming either.

No really, it is a great vacuum!! It really sucks. This is the second one of these I bought. I was amazed at the dirt, dust, pet hair, people hair, it collected. If you have pets. This is definitely the vacuum to get. It's light weight, easy to use, retractable cord, vacuuming wand, just a great all around vacuum. Also, No bags to buy! Easy to empty, easy to clean.

This vacuum does a great job cleaning pet hair from carpets and hardwood floors. The canister fills up fast so expect to empty frequently. Vacuum did stop working while I was using it. After some investigating it was because the small, round hepa filter was clogged so be sure to clean it regularly. Vacuum is easy to use and sucked up an impressive amount of pet hair, dirt and dander. The cord recoils with a press of a lever but that function doesn't always work. The hose and attachments are easy to use. Overall, this vacuum performs above average for it's price range. When on sale for deal of the day, it's an excellent buy.
