Best Buy is the best with delivery. Product arrived before promise date. While I have decided to keep the vacuum it has not been without hesitation. Keeping in mind, we have 3 rambunctious boys under 7 yrs old-our house is the house all the friends & neighborhood kids go to, a dog and mostly 90% hardwood floors. Used daily. Good points: Great suction Easy to clean Decent on hardwood floors Great price point My 3 yr old can use it!! (Even changes attachments) Not so crazy about: Short cord Loud Not easy to store Heavy No where to store attachments What I would change: Rubber wheels A different color on the retractable button vs power button Power button on handle It has left a few minor easily rubbed out scratches on the floors and is a little difficult to manuver but it gets the job done efficiently. Cleaning the dirt compartment is easy and should be done frequently. Overall I kept it because it's a good price point and is really effective at its job. While it's not doing heavy duty work, it is used frequently.

easy assembly out of box. beater bar has its own on/off switch and is gear engaged, no belts to break. canister is small and needs to be emptied often. accessories stored on handle, not a good location. easy to use. very light. super suction power.

I love this vacuum! I bought it to replace another brand that broke quickly. This Hoover is sturdy and also very easy to use. The suction is great, and it cleans up easily by emptying the dust container, or removing the spinning brush from the head as it traps lots of hair. It works great on carpet with that spinning brush, and on hard wood floor by changing the head. I am satisfied with that purchase!

For a longer period of time i was looking for a perfect vacuum cleaner, "bagless and canister one" to replace my old "upright" VC. I did a extended online research and went for a Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless canister SH40070. Since i do love Best Buy and am faithful to my locals, i ordered my online and picked up and my local BB on Atlantic Ave. The stuff was amazing, i got all the help and support. My new Hoover is excellent, great performance, lightweight, with air tunnel technology, steerable and versatile for all your multi-floor surfaces. And the tool attachments and multi floor power nozzle give you freedom and cleaning access a most traditional upright vacuum just can’t reach. Ease of assembly, and suction power. However there are a few amazing functions which i like like the setting controls right on the handle and no bags and easy to empty, long telescopic handle and Excellent fast cord retraction with a touch of a toe and on/off switch same deal. In overall its fun and easy to use, even to vacuum all pet hairs after our Chihuahua. Highly recommended!

I love canister vacuums. This one does an excellent job. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Great suction and does well on both flooring and carpet. We have a set of steep stairs and I am able to easily vacuum them now. I was hesitant about the bagless because I have not had a great experience with them, but this is super easy to empty and replace. I would change two things in the design (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars). (1) make the cord about 2 feet longer (2) the multitool attachment holder is in an awkward spot when you are vacuuming. It is on the wand and I keep dislodging the tool as I vacuum. Overall, a great price for a great product.

Let me start by saying that this vacuum was purchased to replace a Hoover Wind Tunnel canister vacuum that I had for more than ten years and loved. I assume that this model is the smaller updated version of my old machine as the style is very similar. I have used the vacuum several times now and the power is impressive-I have several animals and the vacuum picks up all the pet hair on both the wood floors and area rugs on the first pass. Just like my older version, this vacuum has the detachable wand which gives you the ability to clean corners, curtains, ceiling fans, etc, The canister is easy to remove and clean-love not having to bother with vacuum bags! The only con I can think of is that the vacuum seems a bit less sturdy than my old one-many of the parts are now plastic and the hose seems shorter. Over-all I am VERY happy with my purchase and would recommend the vacuum to others. P.S. This is the 4th Hoover vacuum I have owned and I have always been impressed with them. Their customer service staff are friendly and helpful as well.

Small and powerful. Supplied with tools for multiple jobs. Love that it is bagless. Able to be cleaned up. One drawback-nowhere to store head for vacuuming floors

This is a great vacuum for a great price. It picks up dust quickly and is very easy to use.

Overall, I love the ease of use, high quality suction and light weight body. We have a dog and 4 children and the vacuum picks up everything, even the pesky dog fur. I love the canister and bagless unit. However, there are a few design flaws which do not affect the overall performance of the vacuum. When the vacuum picks up long human hair, it rolls it around the beater bar. Periodically, you have to use sharp, haircutting scissors to cut the hair off. Also, when emptying the dirt cup, the top cap (with the filter) always falls off which makes emptying clumsy. You also have to remove multiple pieces to clear out dirt and hair. If you want to clean your sofa or car, it is sometimes difficult to detach the wand into small sections. Also, the cleaning 'tools' included are awkward and unusable. I use the tools from my old canister vaccum which fit perfectly. Overall I love the performance of the vacuum and it works very well, but the older model (no longer available) did not have all the design flaws in this model.

I needed a canister small jobs and around baseboards as I don't like to switch back and forth with my upright when I am cleaning. This vacuum was a great choice. It is compact but has great suction. It is easy to move and lightweight when doing stairs.

ordered and had shipped to store, when I got it home plastic clip that holds dirt cup to vac was broken. Returned it to store and ordered another and had shipped to store, this time I opened the box in the store and all was well. I read reviews about this vac overheating so I always empty it after I am done using it and have no problems at all with it-actually it does a very good job for a small canister vacuum

great suction, great mobility; nice long hose and adjustable wand; accessories little cheaply made--crevice tool too short; dirt tank fills up too quickly.

I have had this vacuum for less than a year...read the reviews and thought it'd be a great product for a reasonable price. It works well, when it actually decides to work. Overheats after vacuuming tile and/or hard wood for literally 5 minutes, randomly turns off, doesn't turn back on for HOURS, and then shuts off after 30 seconds. I've cleaned it, checked for blockages, cleaned it, cleaned it again, and nada. A teenage child in the middle of a video game would be more productive. Very, very, very disappointed.

This vacuum seemed to operate very well. Suction was great. It was just a bit more cumbersome and heavy for the jobs we wanted to use it for. We therefore returned it.

a little cumbersome to use, such as changing of attachments. Attachments don't attach to the unit. Hoses and attachments made of somewhat cheaper plastic. Not easy to detach and attach components. Great suction power and lightweight.

The suction on this is great...the attachments are a little cumbersome but worth it, as an upright its fabulous. Tube could be a little more flexible but overall a good value for the price.

I've never owned a high quality vacuum before this one, and did a LOT of research to make sure I was getting a good deal. If I was going to fork over over $100 on a vacuum for the first time, I wanted to make sure it would be worth it. This vacuum definitely was a great choice. I looked at Dyson models, but the price was just too high. I've never tried a Dyson, but this Hoover is small, light, extremely powerful, and the filters and canister are easily cleaned. I have no complaints, and no regrets over not spending 3-4 times the cost of this vacuum on a Dyson.

this hoover is perfect , good strong suction avery easy to manoever around the home , Bagless and come with 2 floor brush , 1 for woodenfloor and the other for carpet . had it for a year and still very happy

Purchased for home use. It has immediately earned its keep by removing several canisters full of embedded dust and dirt from winter. Canister is easy to clean. Dust cup door empties loose dust, and twist of inner part allows removal of fibers and other debris. Washable main filter should be useful for several years. Hose untangles easily. Price was very reasonable although about $20 higher than when I was thinking about purchase during Winter. Only negative issue is that combination tool (crevice, dust brush and upholstery) sometimes requires special attention.
