Even with minimalist specs this machine operates great, especially in developer mode, which let me install Ubuntu 14.04 and I switch back to Chrome OS without a reboot Both run flawlessly! Next project will be setting up a Kali Linux ISP and boot it from a USB. I suggest making use of the Chrome backup tool to get back to normal if things so sideways.

This is my second Chromebook from Best Buy...For the money I love it as I use it mainly for streaming content and live news, What sold me is the large 14" screen!

This is the perfect system for a person that has teenagers in high school that just need internet Youtube and music uploads I highly recommended.

This 14" Chromebook will not disappoint! The screen resolution, battery life, build quality and weight are a pleasure. If you love google and the Chrome OS, this system is the one to choose. It is very portable and very easy to use. It is stylish and the casing is attractive and functional. The keyboard and trackpad are very responsive and no antivirus is necessary! well my old desktop dell computer after 7 years is finally dying i did not want another desktop and just wanted a tablet or laptop just for youtube and surfing the net. and decided on a chromebook originally was going for the samgsung but i saw this HP chromebook which was 3inch bigger and only $20 im glad i got this one instead its super fast very light weight battery life is amazing

I love this product. I was not sure about switching from the conventional laptop to a Chromebook, but have fell in love with this product. It is great for all of the uses our family needs. Great storage, picture, speed and so easy to switch and understand. Love the options within the google series. I think I am going to get another one since the family can't stop fighting over this over the Mac on our desktop!

We finally convinced my wife's parents to get a new laptop (their previous was tiny and old) and they love this one. It's the perfect size for traveling with as that's the only time they use it. They love the keyboard, screen size, speed of the processor, it's wifi speed and overall easy use. Would highly recommend.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter. She easily set it up by herself. Her school uses chrome books so this is perfect for her to do her homework. Runs great. We have had no issues. Her only complaint is not being able to download apps that are not in the chrome web store. No Skype, no iTunes.

We got this computer for my wife, because her old one broke and she only uses the computer for online photo books ( Shutter fly). Works fantastic. She has all her pictures on her external hard drive and loads them up to shutter fly. Since shutter fly is all in the cloud it works great and is really fast.... all while only costing us a couple hundred bucks.

This Chromebook is a great lightweight laptop. So far it's reliable, stays connected to the internet well, and doesn't have any major flaws for a moderate computer user. It doesn't have a cd drive, which is normal but the external cd drive I got is apparently not compatible with the Chromebook.

I purchased this for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. She can play both games and log onto her teachers web sites and work on extra class work. Excellent computer for the price and it allowed me to gain my computer back. Well worth it!

I recently upgraded my old chrome book to this white hp and I love it!!! I don't think I will ever buy a regular computer again!

Bought this laptop to take on campus since I only had a desktop. I was skeptical aylt first since it uses Google chrome and apps. So this means no windows software such as office. However it does have easy app access to Google docs, slides and other Google apps for college students. For under $350 this laptop is defiantly worth it.

It is light weight and portable. It fits nicely with her travels and school as they use google classroom for all her classes.

Purchased this for my 13yr old who had a Samsung chromebook which was in need of replacement. This HP is perfect!! Great size screen, pretty good processor, light weight, good battery life and affordable cost, make this the perfect laptop for kids to be used in school.
