Was hesitant about buying HP but the sales rep helped me. I'm happy with it. It doesn't everything I need for work and school. I don't do a lot so it's good computer for every day use.

Ive had this laptop for over a year. For the price listed, it is a great laptop. Filled all my needs for school and was good enough to keep my games playing pretty smoothly. Only bad things about the laptop is that the disk space seems to overload often for no reason and the processing speed is a little slow. Overall, I recommend this laptop to fill basic computer needs.

So far so good. Fast, easy setup, lots of storage space. Windows 10 seems to be pretty good so far although I haven't fully explored all the features of it. Anything is better than Windows 8 lol No problems with Wifi connection, quick to boot up, HDMI port a big plus for me. I took one star off for battery life. Although not terrible, could be better. I get about 4 hours or so on a full charge. Overall, I would recommend this laptop. Can't go wrong for the price. Great deal.

After looking for specific features within our budget, we chose this HP TouchScreen. It had everything we wanted for an economical price we could afford. This is my first TouchScreen, first Laptop, and first time with Windows 10. Set up was easy. We purchased extended warranty for the computer. It runs pretty fast, looks very nice, and gets the job done. Am happy we could find all that our computer repairman recommended for a new laptop that was affordable. Best Buy provided excellent customer service to help us make an educated choice on our first time out looking at laptops. Thanks Best Buy!!!

Was purchased as a gift for a friend, she is loving it Windows 10 has been amazing for her to use and again she loves loves loves the touchscreen capability. Ease of use and speed have made this a wonderful user friendly experience and has inspired her to start taking some online classes to further her education so I would have to say win win

I like this laptop. It's easy to use and has lots of space. That's one of the reasons why I chose this over others (besides the sale price). Though I originally desired to purchase a laptop like the ASUS 2 in 1 or the Lenevo Yoga, etc. I opted for one with more memory, touch screen and light weight. The only thing I'm not too static about is the battery. Though on powersaver it still seems to die quickly, but then again I do just about everything on this one computer.

Honestly I am not impressed but I am not disappointed either. The laptop is my second HP laptop. The first one I bought in 2009 and it still working up till now, I gave it away then bought this.
This laptop has great specs but seems to be just about the same as my old lappy which had 320GB HD, 4GB RAM. This laptop FEELS CHEAP, literally like just base plastic. The old lappy was heavier earlier but felt like quality stuff. I hate the mouse pad on this one, it is too level with the rest of the laptop so it hard to do my edge scrolling without looking down at time (so annoying). Windows 10 is....bleh, but if you loved Window 8 you will like it.
Still for the price, it is a good buy, touchscreen and all. Btw the touchscreen is silly on a laptop of this size because it doesnt have tablet mode i.e. where you can fold back the keyboard. I find myself forgetting that it is actually touchscreen most of the time. The times I do remember is usually when the mouse not responding fast enough because my hand not position properly for edge scrolling and other things....lol
Would I recommend, only if you have a fixed budget and not able or willing to spend more. As I said for the price, I think it is a good buy.

I had been looking for a reasonably priced computer for a while. Wanting a touch screen my options at a low price were limited. This computer fit the bill. It has been very easy to set up. I was able to load my Microsoft Office 2007 & Quicken very easily. I love the feel of the keyboard and the touch screen is very responsive. I would definitely recommend this for someone who just needs a computer to pay bills, surf the internet etc.

Let me start this review by saying that the laptop is really nice and works well for what it is being used for. I have no complaints about the laptop at all. My review is about the service of the Geek Squad. Purchased this laptop for my daughter for Christmas as an open box Geek Squad certified item. I have never purchased an open box item before and will never do it again. It was not geek squad certified and I didn't know that until Christmas morning when my daughter tried to use it and couldn't do anything with the computer because it still had the demo software installed on it. Took it back to the store and the geek squad member told me they would never have done that and the best that he could do was to reset the laptop. After a lot of arguing with the young man, I gave up and just had him reset the laptop. I don't understand why, he could not just geek squad certify it for me. And I don't think he knew either. He just kept repeating that they wouldn't have sold it to me geek squad certified. The problem I had with that was that I purchased another one the exact same way for my son from a different location and it was geek squad certified and worked perfectly right out of the box. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE AN OPEN BOX GEEK SQUAD CERTIFIED ITEM AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO GO TO GEEK SQUAD FOR HELP.

After reviewing laptops for a week or two, I decided on the HP, with the Intel processor. I didn't really want the touch screen, however the price was right. The speed, memory and hard drive were more than adequate for my needs. This is my first laptop after owning only desktops. I use it for storing information, records, photos, medical records and a dozen or more files of various household utilities. Windows 10 takes a little getting used to, but in the month or so that I've had it I like it more than windows 7. I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought this computer for my son and fell in love with it so I went and bought myself one and am very happy I did. it was easy to set up yes it took a bit but was simple. Windows 10 is already installed and easy to use once you get used to it. The touchscreen is great I like to use it for just about anything. I will say sometimes it lags but it isn't to bad. A good computer with a lot of storage for the money. Enjoy

I gladly gave up my my iPad for the HP Notebook w/Windows 10. Though unfamiliar w/the new Windows & Microsoft but familiar with Windows 2008, I was happy to be back in the world of Microsoft. I'm unqualified to speak about megabytes & bytes etc. My computer needs are basic: shopping, emailing and you tube. NOT a fan of FB. I believe I'll catch up faster with Windows 10/Microsoft Office, than I ever did with Apple. The keyboard has a nice touch, Great value. Why would I want anything else? It's light weight & the battery holds it's charge (don't ask me for how long) I'm out of the loop. Just wanna use my laptop with a minimum of aggravation. If you like a touch screen (I do) and a nice keyboard you'll love this combo. I'm not too techy, but I know how to simplify my life. When I have problems navigating the system, I phone, chat or look online (in that order) and find answers. I've overheard customers complain about Windows 10. Pay them no mind. They may be afraid of change. I'm pleased with this sweet little computer at this point in time. It does what it's supposed to do.

I bought this computer before Christmas for myself and I love it. It fulfills all my needs for a 379$ computer. So far I haven't found any troubling problems with the computer itself although since buying it I have seen similar computers that look better and are comparable in price.
This computer starts quickly, surfs the internet quickly, runs smoothly, and allows me to store everything I need plus much more. The only real complaints I might have are that I sometimes have to restart it because updates or downloads will not show up or install. I know you have to restart it for it to install, but this is restarting it so that it actually finds the updates or downloads or actually starting the downloads in the app store/update center. This compute also sometimes plays video's slowly and at poor quality, but I don't watch many videos so I am ok with it. With that I still recommend this computer as being a great overall computer for work, school, and fun.

I thought Best Buy would have the greatest selection of laptops, and I wasn't disappointed. It had a good-sized hard drive, good amount of RAM, and even a touchscreen. I even enjoy Windows 10.
However, the biggest problem is a sudden drop of battery power. It seems that the battery use can go from as high as 45% to 9% within minutes, which shuts the laptop off. I haven't figured out how to fix it.

This is my first HP laptop and I didn't expect much from it. But when I tried it, I was impress with the speed of the system on Intel i3. I've installed Microsoft office and Adobe products for work and it didn't slow down the operating system. The best thing is the touchscreen as it gives me the option to use then the mousepad. So the bottom line, a really good laptop for the price. Bought it for $325.

I purchased this laptop for my son who is a college student. I must say that I was immediately jealous and wanted this laptop for myself. The intial set up is easy, great compromise for those that are used to windows 7 but have difficulty with windows 10. The touch screen is a nice added bonus. and the price is reasonable and well deserved Overall I would reccommend this laptop to all
