I used the chat feature online with Best Buy to figure out what I needed -- not terribly expensive, but reliable and available. I'm delighted with the computer! It was delivered two days later and was easy to set up.

A fast processor, enough Ram, plenty storage space on the 1TB hard drive. and Large 17 inch display. I will upgrade RAM and replace the SATA with 1 TB SSD in the future, for now it rocks.

The weight is also light enough to handle. It is a very user friendly and I am able to navigate the laptop easily. Only issue is that at that price it should have had at least an introductory offer for an Office Suite subscription.

It takes a good amount of time to start up and to respond to opening anything you click on. This is an ok laptop if you are looking for basic and simple use. If you are looking for more than that, I do not recommend this one.

Thanks very much for your review. I can certainly understand how concerning it might be that the laptop takes some time to get started, so I wanted to jump in and offer some information and assistance on that.
This laptop will go through a series of updates once it has been powered on for the first time out-of-box. These updates can take up to one hour to complete and attempting to use programs or running tasks while the system is updating may result in slow or poor performance as key resources are being utilized to support the updates that may not be visible to users. Once the device has completed the update / optimization process, the system’s resources should return to full utilization and you may begin to access your device as designed.

Easy to set up, and no time at all for my files to convert over to it. The sound and visual effects are amazing, and even supports the 4k HD videos of my camera.

It took about 5 minutes to start up and several minutes to go from screen to screen. Sometimes the screen would go black and come back on. My email would only setup half way and then it would say there was an error. Returned and paid a little more for a Dell.... so far the Dell is super fast and working perfectly.
