Very light. Big screen. Highly recommend. Excellent buy!!

I bought this in April 2017. Had only one problem with it, and that was when the windows 10 did the update. Had to replace the hard drive on it but that was the updates issues. It seems to be going on alot with different laptops. Bought a solid state hard drive and have had no further issues since.

I wanted a 17 inch screen as I do database design and graphics editing. Small screens make these tedious. This laptop has been great to work with, but I have one issue: I had to buy a wireless mouse. The click from the mouse pad is loud even that it annoys anyone in the same room.

I haven't had this laptop very long, but it seems to have everything I need. The battery does last a lot longer than my old one. Fairly light and compact for the screen size. The only drawback so far (minor) the mouse pad has a surface that doesn't always respond well to ones touch.

Great laptop for the price, decent speed and not too heavy

I needed a bigger screen, but also needed a laptop so I could take my work with me since I am always traveling, but price was also a factor. This one hit the nail on the head and is GREAT! my only complaint is that the key board is not back lit since I do tend to work at night more. But over all I'm extremely happt!! Highly recommend!

I purchased this computer based on very positive reviews. Was very impressed with the speed and the quality of the screen. Unfortunately on the first day after recieving it, blue lines showed up the screen. I returned it.

It's very good and have big screen and it's very fast

I bought this laptop for online school. I have had no problems so far. HP customer service has always been helpful for my employers equipment. I do wish the battery lasted longer and the speakers were a better quality. Otherwise it's good. I don't do much else on it as of yet.

I've had my laptop for a week now and love it! Setup was easy and issue free. Although I love all the updated programs on this laptop, I was very happy that I was able to load my old programs on this system. I was apprehensive about buying a laptop, but I've had absolutely no issues and am extremely happy with this purchase.

I am so far pleased with my new laptop. Good machine for the price. It does everything I need/want it to do (needed a backup Windows machine for online classes). Plus it has a DVD player. I hope it will last as long as my last HP (over 10 years). I would recommend!

This is a sleek machine and much lighter than the one it replaces. The power of the i5 processor and the acceptable ram makes this a great all around unit for general laptop duties, web browsing and photo editing. Not meant to be a high end gaming machine but you wouldn't be buying this if that's what you were looking for anyhow. Lacks a 1080p screen, Bluetooth, latest internet capabilities, etc. For the money ($379 on clearance) you prob can't do any better. This model has recently been replaced by one with minimal changes to include Bluetooth for around $450... which is still a good deal. Overall, very satisfied considering this is less than half of the price I paid for the 2010 HP gaming laptop that it replaced, and clearly has superior performance in every way. As a bonus, it has an actual optical RW-DVD drive which is becoming more and more difficult to find. My only major disappointment is the lack of a backlit keyboard which I feel should be included on any laptop nowadays, but I knew that when purchasing. Again 5 out of 5 when factoring price with performance.
