The core BIOS for this computer limits the ram available for game performance to 1/2 GB no matter how much RAM is installed. By searching HP's website you will see this was done with no way to undo. This was a deliberate choice when designing the model as the Ryzen 5 version of this model has 2 GB available ( I own that one as well, but will be returning this model). I get that this looks tempting I fell for it too, thinking you get the new Ryzen 7 while adding some more RAM and a larger SSD and your set. But simply put, it doesn't matter as you can't utilize the RAM performance boost. Its not a horrible computer and I am sure light users will find this a good purchase. But if you want something to game with and to upgrade look elsewhere.

The video does not always turn on when the computer is restarted. Complete shutdown also does not ensure that the video turns on once the machine is powered up again. I am returning this tomorrow.
