I’m a college student and this HP Envy 2-in-1 has been great for school and media. The touch screen is super responsive, audio/video quality is amazing, and the compact design makes it easy to carry around. Battery life is strong too—perfect for long days on campus. It does run a bit hot sometimes, and there’s no number pad, which I knew but still miss occasionally. Overall though, great performance, sleek build, and awesome for everyday use.

I am very impressed with this laptop. I have had others and this one far exceeds its performance, speed, battery life, good keyboard maneuverability and the touch screen. I 100% recommend that you buy it and enjoy its excellent benefits.

I purchased this to replace an older 15" HP laptop. I bought it on sale, as an excellent-condition open-box item. My key requirements were an SSD, backlit keyboard, support for Windows Hello, and USB-C charging, all of which it has. I would have preferred 16GB of memory, as Task Manager shows it 67% used when it's idle, but it's likely that I'll mostly use it for zoom and some occasional development work on the road, so that's not an issue for me. But it's something to be aware of, and note that the memory is not expandable. I also wish it had a plug-in wall charger, rather than the traditional brick with a USB-C plug, but I bought an Anker charger and a 6' 100w USB-C cable, so not really an issue - but I think that's something that HP should address. Overall, excellent value and I'm very happy with this purchase. Note that although I'm giving it four stars across the board, I'm not using it for anything serious so I haven't really tested speed or battery life, and I'm not in a position to make meaningful comparisons.

HP’s mid‑range chassis uses sturdy plastic with subtle brushed finishes. The hinge feels firm, the screen doesn’t wobble, and at roughly 3½ lb for a 14‑ to 15‑inch size it’s still backpack‑friendly. The keyboard has deep travel and comfortable spacing, making long typing sessions painless. The only gripe: the deck can flex slightly under heavy pressure.

So far, this machine is working very well. The only issue I seem to have is with certain applications that don't seem to play nice with the memory (or possibly the graphics adapter.) I am very pleased with the screen. It's big enough and bright enough to make it very easy to use, in dark or light settings. The keyboard is also a good size, though I wish the mouse pad were not right in the middle. The sound is great, and the camera works well for Zoom and Meet calls.

I'm amazed with this computer it was easy to set up. It is touchscreen with my vision. It makes things a lot easier to move around and it is maximum speed. I love it.

I bought it for my Fiancée and she loves it! The touch screen feature with its huge 16 inch screen is amazing. The built in camera has awesome picture and video quality it’s great!

Traded in my MacBook Pro since the battery was losing more and more power, and it was only 4 years old. Not impressed with the quality of Apple lately. Their products are not made as well as they used to be, and they just leach the money out of your pockets. Not impressed at all! They gave me $200 credit for the computer trade in and purchased this computer towards it. So far it works well, love the touch screen! However, it is very "touchy" with the mouse and opens up tabs and pages I don't intend to open. I think I will just have to get used to that, a new device. Has all the tools I need, and will take time going from a Mac to a HP with the transitions of different application names. Again, will just take time. Good computer so far for the price! Bought it on sale at $550. Great, beautiful looking device that is very economical! I don't think you'll regret purchasing it!

I’ve been using this computer since the end of December, and it’s been a fantastic investment, especially for college. It handles all my academic tasks smoothly—whether I’m taking notes, writing papers, doing research, or participating in online classes. The performance is reliable and consistent, and I haven’t had any many major issues however I do find it lag or shutdowns on its own. Battery life is solid, which is a big plus when I’m moving between classes or working in different spots on campus. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the display is clear and easy on the eyes, even after hours of use. I also love that it is touch screen I also use it occasionally for entertainment—streaming shows, watching videos, and light gaming—and it handles that just fine. It’s not a high-end gaming rig, but for casual use, it’s more than enough. Overall, I’m really happy with this computer. It’s dependable, portable, and has everything I need as a college student with a bit of downtime here and there.

I bought this machine for my wife while it was on sale last month. It's a great value with the AMD chipset capable for the light gaming she does, and compares well against my (aged) laptop with a GTX1060m in it. While none of the individual elements are top-of-class, no corners were cut in a ways that make the unit feel cheap or ineffective. The screen looks great, is bright enough for normal use, with a great ratio of screen to bezel. 8GB of RAM is a little light, enough for our uses. Similar story for the SSD. Over all, the unit feels snappy, is comfortable to type on, the large track pad feels great. I also appreciate that it is powered via USBC (with a nice braided cable, 65W) and has USBA on both the left and right side, and it *still* has a classic headphone/mic combo jack. It punches above it's weight, I'm happy even with the new generation of chips inbound.

In a word to start, 'Excellent' Laptop is nice and satisfy what i was looking for. From screen size, speed, foldable, touch screen, weight, handing comfort. Overall good value for money.

Perfect laptop for my daughter compared to her old Chromebook. Enough speed and power for school work. The touch screen allows more detailed work along with digital art which is her passion. Very sturdy case design. Was cautious about only 8gb of RAM, but so far its been doing the job just fine.

Awesome laptop, touchscreen and folds back to turn into a tablet. I'm used to the surface go tablet/laptop, so when this laptop is folded, there's really no way to turn it back on from sleep mode without flipping the keyboard around. The surface go had a power button on the edge of the screen, and tapping the screen on this laptop doesn't turn it on. Either than that little inconvenience, it's still a really nice and sleek laptop. There's many inputs for usb connections, two usb-c inputs, and the screen is huge!

Overall it has been a good little machine. Works as it should, and the large high res touch screen is great for histology labs for school (though color accuracy is not the best). As a current DVM student, it allows me to hand write notes on lectures that are extremely fast paced. Battery life is excellent, with it routinely getting 10 hours of use out of a full charge. The only issue (and why it is not a 5 star review) is that my unit had a motherboard defect, that bricked the system after two months. With the one year warranty that comes included with the laptop though, it was as simple as contacting customer support, sending the unit in, and getting the necessary parts replaced. I now have it back and works flawlessly.
