It is extremely cheaply made and the paper jams often. Part of the problem is lack of sufficient guides for the paper. The printer also does not have a readily accessible on and off button.
I am seriously thinking about returning it. I have been using HP printers for many, many years and HP should be ashamed to have their logo on this product.

Right now I am having to rate this "poor" and I'm so sad to do so. I was so excited to have a new printer after having gone without one for over a month and was hoping this would be a great, simple one. However, I've found that I need to power it off and back on each time I use it. I chatted with someone online at Best Buy but they were unable to help me and now I'm having to go back into the store to have it looked it. I'm so frustrated because I wanted this to be a quick, easy fix to not having a printer at all and it's ending up being quite a hassle. Hopefully I'll be able to put in a better review later.

Sorry I purchased this printer. My ink cartridges are empty so fast. I printed color pages , about 100 and it wasn't like a full color photo but the ink was gone. Should have done more homework on printers before choosing this one. I had a Canon prior to this and it didn't do this. I am going to look for another Canon

I’m sorry to hear that your printer ran out of ink faster than you’d anticipated. I can certainly understand why that would be an unwelcome discovery for a new printer, so I’ll offer some clarifying information and point you toward some resources I hope will help.
First, the page yield depends on many factors, including how dry the air is, how absorbent the paper is and which type of cartridges you use. Setup cartridges have a lesser estimated page yield than regular or XL cartridges, and lesser still than Instant Ink cartridges. The XL page yield for the cartridges used by your printer is 200 to 240 pages.
When appropriate, use the printer's draft mode to save on black as well as color ink. You can save some ink by turning the printer off when it is not in use. Make sure to turn off the printer using the power button on the printer itself. That will let the printer “park” so that the printhead is protected from excess drying, which causes clogs to form in the tiny nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper.
You might also consider signing up for Instant Ink. The subscription plans are based on how many pages you print. You can check out the details at: HPinstantink.com
