Runs slow i had to go exchange it. I am so happy that best buy understood my need and was able to exchange it without saying no even though O was a week late from normal deadline. Also, I needed something that would multitasking and not running slow for my kids homework print out.

Having had HP printers for the majority of my computer using life, I am well versed in how HP products work and am always happy with their products. They have never let me down. As such, I was excited to get my hands on this printer. The 6455e is a great little printer that is perfect to just set in the corner of the house somewhere. It is diminutive in size and is perfect to stick on a shelf somewhere out of the way for when you need to print wirelessly.
Taking out of the box and setting up was a breeze. Make sure you get all the pieces of tape off and whatnot. I already have the HP Smart app on my phone, so it was just a matter of removing the old printer and replacing it with this one. The print speed and quality is great! Perfect for home use. There are no jamming issues when using heavier photo paper stock.
The only thing I don't like so much is HP Ink. I think it is a little overpriced for what it is. I don't know if I will continue. That being said, this printer deserves every bit of 5 stars.

The printer developed a carriage error after printing 4 pages, support kept me online for three hours for a ten minute troubleshooting. after waiting for two weeks still no replacement printer.

Worst printer ever!!!!. I had it replaced by the warranty twice. Then geek squad warranty i was able to get a store credit and have a canon now thatis awesome. Save yourself a huge hassle and do not buy this printer.

Very complicated to use and set up. Purchased specifically to use with my 11 year old’s HP Chromebook for school and she still can’t print without help. There are no buttons on actual printer everything has to be done through the HP app. Print quality is good.

This is the worst printer I have ever had. Set it up - printed 8 pages and it’s out of ink already. I don’t know who would use this. Not even good for a student. If I did not throw away the box I would return it right now.

Have to use an app to set up the printer, buttons icons are not intuitive, it has a stupid useless light in the front, and the scanning software does not allow scanning multiple images in one scan.

This is a really nice printer. It works really great and looks really nice and sleek in my office. Setup was really simple. You can do it all from your phone. Just download the HP app, and follow all the prompts. Then, the next time I turned on my computer, somehow it just knew that I had the printer connected to my network, and asked if I wanted to download the app on my computer as well. Overall it was just all seamless and much less complex than I was even expecting. I was able to print from all my devices with absolutely no trouble. And the print quality is absolutely great. Nothing short of what I have come to expect from HP. It is a fairly speedy printer as well. Basic documents print in just a few seconds. Overall just a really great printer. I would definitely recommend.

Bought the printer only to find that the ink is not available in stores. Apparently HP wants to force me to sign up for automatic ink delivery. Won’t work given the massive variation in volume for the printer. Never getting HP again

I really enjoy having this printer. I like that it has more features and is smaller than my current business printer. It prints a little slower but it's not noticeable. It's a little odd to not have a touch screen but honestly I don't normally use them. I like that the printer was able to print and scan at the same time. This is very useful with multiple people using the same printer. With scanning, I'm very impressed with the quality. Not only does it do a good job with documents, I challenged it with scanning patches and coins. It was able to capture all the detail and not cause any artifacts. The double sided printing was useful and easy. I printed a couple photos on photo paper and they turned out awesome.
I signed up for HP Instant Ink and it seems like a great service. For my personal needs I don't think I print enough to justify the service but it seems extremely convenient to have ink auto ordered for you. It's provided for free for 6 months to try out.
The only negatives I can think of with this printer is that you have to use your smartphone to get it setup and there's not ethernet port. Since there's a lack of a touch screen, you need to download the HP Smart app to connect the printer to WIFI. And without an ethernet port you can't just connect the printer hard line to the router so you don't have to worry about WIFI availability. For my situation these weren't major cons but I could see them being an issue for others.

I love my new HP Envy 6455 e. It is an amazing printer. I was able to use the printer as soon as I took it out of the box and add the ink. The setup was very easy and all I had to do was plug it in and put the ink that came in the Box into it. The printer has a very Sleek design and fits perfectly into my room. I like the bright colors that I get when I print and the printer is very quiet. I love that I can open and close the feed tray. Ended I speak about Hall amazing the print quality is. I am still excited and ready to continue to print projects with the printer another great feature that stood out to me is the fact that I can automatically get ink ordered and I can use the printer wirelessly. The scan feature of the printer is very easy to use. I really love this printer and I received it at a discountrd price.

Really nice printer. Glad i spent a little extra $ to get a better quality of printer. Super easy to setup and use with my iphone. You need a smart phone to use this printer. I can easily print from my phone or HP Chromebook. Also easy to get the ink subscription. Easy to print a double sided document right away. BTW I recommend searching Youtube for videos that walk you through the setup and use of this HP 6455e Envy Printer. If your looking for a good printer and not wanting to break the bank, get this one.

Printer is beautiful but only worked once. Kept saying out of paper when it was a paper inside and the tray was closed. Followed steps how to fix problem online but still didn’t work. Returning product for an Epson.
