I really like this laptop. The size, ease of use, and affordability makes this a perfect laptop for personal everyday use. The only thing that prevents me from giving it a 5 is that the fan is a bit loud and runs more often than my other laptops. Overall, I am pleased with this laptop and would recommend it to anyone who is looking! While the fan is a bit louder, it's minor.

I've been actively using the laptop for about a month. I have yet to used the writing ability (this model does NOT come with a pen), but enjoy the speed at which the computer wakes up and is ready to go. I've installed a few programs and they are working fine and have not slowed down the processing speed. The computer is responsive and the colors are great. The speaker is fine.

Very nice computer. However, I returned it because of Windows 10. Windows 10 just did function well with my needs. I exchanged this for a Mac Pro, which I LOVE!!!!If you can work with Windows 10, this HP is a very attractive and nice computer. The best feature for me was the backlit keyboard at night. It's so pretty! Kinda weird, I know...but I loved it!

This is an absolutely wonderful device. Comes packed with all the features, excellent display, 12 GB RAM and Intel Iris graphics card. It turns 360 degree so you can use it to take notes, draw picturs and likewise. It does not come with a stylus but you get a compatable pen without paying much extra. Get this device if you truly want a feature packed system for the price you are paying.

Word to purchasers: does not come with stylus. Wish that the power button weren't right next to the delete button, but it takes a long period of holding it down to shut down the computer anyway (no accidental shut offs). Love the screen and the back-light of the keyboard. Will be buying an external CD drive to use with the computer (I'm one of the dinosaurs that still loves DVDs).

It's fast, lightweight, and packed with features for a reasonable price.

Great laptop, it is sleek, fast, and the security features are awesome! Only downside is the battery life. Since I’m only using it from home it’s fine but on better battery mode I get about 5 hours before needing to plug it in, and that is from working on online college classes not demanding software. Overall it is a great value for the price.

This device took a short while to get used to. In the beginning I would get frustrated with it however the longer I have it the more useful and great this tool becomes! It can do a lot of things I didnt know were possible and do them really well. I would recommend this computer to anyone thinking of purchasing, at this price I dont think anything else compares

So far I am enjoying my new laptop. Took me a bit to get used to how this one works since my other laptop was slow and super old. Have not had any issues with the HP ENVY and touch screen is a great feature. I did purchase a bluetooth HP mouse which works great with my laptop. Also nice feature is that has Alexa feature added and works with my Alexa Show.

I enjoy using my new computer. The speed is quite faster than my previous computer bought many year ago. This computer has the 10 key option. This option causes the weight to be a bit heavier but it is worth the extra keyboard space. This computer is one of the faster models and has a bit more memory than some of the less expensive models.

This is my first tablet/laptop. I was spoiled by my previous laptop with a 17.3 screen, and was very hesitant to downsize but was pleasantly surprised. The rectangular shape mimics the larger screen and I really don't miss the larger screen at all. I put it in tablet mode and was concerned that if folded flat that the keyboard would be damaged. but HP says the keyboard s shut off when in full hinged tablet mode. It just seems strange that they would not have some sort of cover for it to protect the keyboard. I would never set something on the keyboard so I won't be using the keyboard as the bottom of the tablet. It is not comfortable to hold it like you would hold a clipboard and write on it, for my purposes. I likely won't be using it in tablet mode and gave ease of use the good rating because of the tablet mode. But it's always nice to have options. I also bought the pen and was playing with Windows ink, that was interesting. Still exploring that function. Otherwise it is a very nice computer for the price.

This was a decent upgrade from the HP laptop I had previously, and was really excited about the solid state drive. The HD display is bright and the colors are vibrant. No real complaints other than the fan is loud - REALLY loud. It can be distracting. It's honestly the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars because it's perfect for what I need otherwise.

I purchased a HP Envy Laptop for my brother so that he could work from home. He loves the way this product performs. The picture is clear, Good audio quality, sleek thin screen, it's a touch screen which makes doing his work a lot easier. He had a Acer, but he said this HP Envy works so much better.

Love the screen size and display quality. The privacy features on the camera and microphone are great as well. I do miss having an additional USB ort though. I'm not used to having only two. I have to use one dedicated to my Logitech Mouse as I'm not proficient using the Touchpad. However, I'm really happy with this laptop as a replacement for my old HP Pavilion.

This laptop exceeded all expectations. I've use laptops with previous versions of the Intel core i5 chipset but this one blows them all away. The touchscreen is responsive and works as expected. The display is vibrant, nice color and resolution. If you're looking for something to meet your computing needs, look no further and just buy it. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I purchased 2 of these at the sale price. We love the speed and the idea of using it as a tablet. The one thing that's annoying is replacing the right control button with the fingerprint reader. It's fast but I use the control button a lot when working in spreadsheets. Really wish they would have put the fingerprint reader somewhere else.

I bought this because I have decided to change careers and go back to college. The laptop works fast and efficient. I love the security features of being able to put a block on the camera to using my finger print to sign in. It’s sleek and light which is a great plus. I really enjoy the touch screen features and of course can’t forget watching Netflix on it. Amazing buy!
