I’ve used HP printers for years and they’re highly reliable devices for all my printing needs. I stay away from inkjet models and only use toner-based ones. I also only use original HP toners since 3rd party are unreliable and damage the printer. This printer checks off all the main requirements.

The printer would not stay connected to my Wifi. It's finally working with my phone, but I am having trouble getting it connected to my laptop (trouble loading the drivers). I called HP support and the rep was very rude.

Replaced a workhorse HP printer with this one. Temperamental set up with the wireless feature, don’t need it, don’t want it. It’s a long recovery time to print multiple documents and if you push it you get feeder errors. Paper hangs off the front so it’s not even. We’ve owned HP printers forever but sadly, this will be the last one. Nobody has displays anymore so you can’t see the precut in advance. HP you’ve let us down.

Overall it works okay. The setup is a bit difficult with the smart phone app.

Craps out after 2 months. Paper feeder failed. Wont load paper. Wifi and remote printing works great, but, the paper feeder wont work. After 20 prints, it over heats. Need to take a smoke break before it can go again

The printer stopped working after very little use. Support from HP was hopeless...hours on hold and never reaching support by phone...tried to get help via chat and wasted a lot of time on an absurd conversation. I can't waste any more of my time. I'm just going to throw the printer out.
