Love, love this printer. I've had good luck with HP printers and this one did not let me down.

It took 5 1/2 hours with the help of Geek squad to get this printer up and running. I used to be able to choose draft for printing in order to save ink but the printer will not print when I choose draft. I often get a warning that the printer will not print, however the printer prints.

Wireless Printing seems to benefit HP, it's good for tech support and advertising for more support, instant ink, etc. For the end user of the printer, it can be a challenge locally. I miss the days when you could just create a port and print! Now, sometimes that approach works but not always. Also the issue of 2.4G/5G with this printer. if you connect to 5G, be ready for false positives and loss of internet. Printer is not bad for the price. I would only recommend to someone with more than basic computer skills.

I bought this hoping that the well-know issues with the paper tray would have been resolved since the printer came out a few years ago. It isn't, and the paper tray is a very tricky pain to load--any deviation from perfection means problems with paper feeding. Otherwise, it's fine. You need patience for this one, and the learning curve for successful paper loading takes patience.

Acceptable replacement for my HP 4630, like the added capabilities. Only issues, it’s larger, weighs more, vibrates more than my old printer so a little u steady on the printer pedestal on my desk

Works great. Bought a similar one three years ago, thought I was just replacing what I had, but the newer version is much better! Copies are crisper, clearer, and better than before! Thank you HP.

We purchased this printer for our public library. I would give this item 0 stars if it was possible. From the first day in trying to use it, it flashed "system error" & "printer error" messages repeatedly. It made odd, loud, clunky noises when trying to operate & stalled while trying to print even one copy for a patron. We are VERY disappointed in this lemon printer. We contacted HP & they deemed it defective & are sending the library a refund. For my personal use, I have had an HP printer for many years & have never had an issue with it, but this one was a huge disappointment & it's so unfortunate, since it was to be used in our small community public library. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
