Impressive machine, I never thought I would buy a HP but after dealing with the ASUS zephyrus laggy and overheating machine that I returned, this has been found to be a SOLID piece of engineering
HP did NOT sacrifice form over function, it's a little thick but it does NOT overheat, great thinking. this is where asus went wrong, tried to make it slim and they made a nice looking laptop that overheats and starts lagging on simple games
i am overtly impressed with the HP omen, i usually buy Lenovo products due to the high build quality and it seems that HP stole some engieneers from there.
I can play all my games on ultra with no problems, this laptop will age well.
A little pricy, absolutely but you have to pay for quality and longevity, and avoid buyers remorse, buy it once

This is a high performance computer with all the highest quality parts installed. All of this is listed in the specs, so I won't repeat it here. I am very happy with the performance of this laptop.

Excellent computer for the price. Great for doing Engineering work and also gaming. No lagging, great speed and enormous storage for all usual processes.

Ready to go right from the start. No problems with the machine itself - windows 11 actually made the transfer of files from the old one easy but didn't do all files

I love the OLED screen on the HP Omen - Max 16. It looked so cool that I bought it. I just need to remember how to use a PC after years of using Apple. I liked it so much that I bought one for my girlfriend so we could play games faster. The speaker sounds good for a laptop. The screen is sharper. It’s built solid, it stays cool, and I like the keyboard. The touchpad is okay, but it’s still a powerful laptop.

The laptop feels very solid and heavy. The screen looks great and bright and the high refresh rate is awesome. I like that I can limit the battery charge to 80% in the BIOS to keep the battery healthy longer. The keyboard is great, but the trackpad is nothing special. The value is high when the laptop is on sale. I can't comment on battery life because I only use plugged in.

This HP is a very capable machine and has a sleek chassis and a gorgeous display. It's main drawback is the stock thermal paste. It uses a hybrid liquid metal and can create inconsistent temperatures depending on the factory application. The keyboard is beautiful if you like the pudding design. The typing experience was acceptable but not great. Definitely pick this one up on sale.

Product case feels good and materials are reasonable for the price. It has been performing the tasks I throw at it fairly well. I'm having one big issue with the PC however in that I can't configure the keyboard to behave like the demo laptop in the store. I contact support and they told me to pay for an HP service to receive any help with this issue. Why would the laptop not be default configured like the demo?

I love it. It cost me more than others but it had the lit up keys that I wanted. The color on the screen is so bright and the graphics are so clear. It’s better than watching my TV. I’m glad I bought it and it’s worth every penny.

the Omen Max 16 is like if someone took a tank and taught it to game. It’s dang powerful.
• Performance? Totally crushing it. This thing runs Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings with ease—like a boss. In benchmarks, it’s almost always beating other RTX 5080 laptops and occasionally giving the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i a run for its money.

Great screen quality, fast and a powerhouse, good build quality
Cons
Bad keyboard layout, needs to plugged in to work. Expensive

Great gaming laptop; Gaming Hub software is the best I've seen on a laptop; only complaint no adjustment to keep battery at 80% to improve battery life that I could find. Used everyday for email, podcasts, and gaming. Fans can occasionally be noisy, but don't bother me much.

Bought mine off of the HP website directly due a nice sale at the time. Everything worked great out if the box. All Windows upadtaes and drivers installed with zero issues. I even updated the BIOS. Then it was time to game. Loaded up several games and started playing. The laptop fans come on full force and it is loud, but games are playing fine at furst. Then i notice studdering and then a few minutes later, the laptop just shuts downs without warning. I restart the laptop and it boots up fine. I then play another game and aame exact thing happens again. I an now returnibg tgis laptop. It’s defective and does jot have the proper cooling solution to keel it stable. This is a major design glaw by HP. I hope they can fix this issue. I will be looking for a new gaming laptop that doesnt have this problem.

I gave this computer a 3 star review. It is pretty zippy at first and I needed it for Unreal Engine project and Video editing. I think it failed me. I would have given it a one star but I bought it as an open box through Best Buy and I feel maybe I got a lemon and someone else saw this too. Best Buy sold it as in excellent condition so they might bear some of the responsibility. I thought it was because I had a real complex scene in UE 5.5 but when I worked in Resolve and other programs the computer kept crashing.
