Needless to say the fans are loud it does get hot but so far no throttling. If you think about it complaining about loud fans on this is like saying my Ferrari is to loud, what do you expect on a high performance machine.

Not really a laptop

HP in their infinite wisdom throttle the CPU to unusable levels when operating on battery. Regardless of what power level you set the laptop to it completely ignores your directions when unplugged from the wall or simply using type C power. For that reason I would consider this a portable desktop with integrated display and keyboard. The only saving grace for this device is the incredible raw power available to you when plugged in using the 300 Watt power brick. Max settings, 4K, every game, it can handle it.

Desktop performance in a laptop

It’s one of the best performancing 5080 laptop often have better performance than a 5090. Most laptop are limited either by power or thermal, this laptop does both extremely well. Only con i have is more of a personal problem but the air vent in the back instead of the side so if you have limited back space it’ll heat up faster.

Hot Rod Laptop!!!

Good but not Great
