The OmniBook X Flip is a sleek, versatile 2-in-1 that packs surprisingly strong performance into a lightweight, convertible body. Its 14″ 2K touch display is sharp and responsive, and the 360° hinge makes it easy to switch between laptop, tablet, tent, or stand modes—perfect for both productivity and play. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra (or AMD Ryzen AI, depending on configuration), this machine handles multitasking, creative work, and even AI-enhanced tasks with ease, leveraging the built-in NPU to boost efficiency. The 16 GB of fast LPDDR5x memory and a 512 GB SSD deliver snappy responsiveness, while battery life can stretch through a full work or class day, with fast charging to top it off. Build quality feels premium, and HP’s use of recycled materials adds a thoughtful, sustainable touch. That said, a few users note occasional quirks like driver issues tied to sleep mode and tablet/dock switching, so it may require some updating out of the box. Overall, it's a refined, capable Copilot+ PC that balances power, flexibility, and everyday usability very well.

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip for a few weeks, and it’s been a really pleasant experience. The design is premium, the chassis feels sturdy yet lightweight, and the 2-in-1 flexibility is great for switching between work and casual use. The touchscreen is bright, crisp, and responsive — easily one of the best displays I’ve seen on a mid-range convertible.
Performance is fast and smooth for multitasking, Office apps, streaming, and even some light creative work. The new Intel Core Ultra 7 handles day-to-day tasks effortlessly, and the laptop wakes instantly from sleep.
Battery life is decent but not amazing — expect around 6-8 hours with mixed use. It’s fine for a workday if you don’t push it too hard, but heavy multitasking or high brightness drains it faster.
Overall, this is an excellent all-rounder for professionals, students, or anyone who wants a premium, portable, and future-ready 2-in-1 laptop. I’d happily recommend it — just keep your charger nearby if you’re a power user.

This 2-in-1 is an amazing light productivity computer if you’re looking for something that is ultra portable, flexible, and if you’re looking for a something a little extra premium over other econo-laptops.
This laptop frequently goes on sale and as such I recommend you purchase this laptop only when you get a good deal.
Out of the box I really liked how light weight the laptop is and its eye-catching blue finish. Opening up the laptop has a decent keyboard that I didn’t find any issues with and the IPS glossy screen. It gets reasonably bright but may suffer in direct or window lighting with a lot of sun but otherwise sufficient for most indoor and office use. The trackpad is…okay I didn’t like how HPs gestures worked and it often minimized or pulled up a different screen with two finger gestures.
Given its CPU don’t expect too much out of this but it did run my Maplestory game just fine without too much trouble but I haven’t tested it in other games too much.
Fan noise is good for light-medium work such as typing on documents and having YouTube open. Sometimes the fan is dead quiet and other times it is more audible but shouldn’t bother too many people. I have caught it being a little loud when plugged in under heavier use but it is as expected for something thin and light.
The speakers are not that great. Kind of mediocre but on par for the course. For the webcam the quality is same as any other just use an external but if you have to use it I did absolutely love the privacy shutter.
It is not perfect of course or else you would be being much more for better build quality, a brighter or color accurate screen, or more performance. But I think this laptop strikes a good medium ground for those looking for something a bit more premium but on a budget when this laptop goes on sale.

The touchscreen and 2-in-1 design make it versatile for work, drawing, and streaming. The 2k display is bright and sharp. The performance is smooth thanks to the jntel processor. The battery life is solid for daily use, though it can get warm during heavy multitasking. Overall. It's a powerful device with flexibility that is perfect for stude ts and professional alike.

I bought this laptop for my son to use for school items. This has been exactly what he needed. It was easy to set up the account and parental controls. I am comfortable allowing him to use this on his own with moderate parental oversight. I appreciate that it seems fast and doesn’t have a problem with lagging. I am looking forward to not having to replace this for his high school career. Also he’s not responsible about charging it and the battery life has lasted multiple tutoring sessions without being charged.

The Onibook laptop is a solid, budget-friendly option with decent performance for everyday tasks. It’s lightweight, has a clear display, and the battery lasts long enough for school or work. However, it’s not great for gaming or heavy editing. Overall, a reliable and affordable laptop for basic use.

I bought this laptop for my husband, who is an agricultural engineer, and he’s extremely happy with it. It’s fast, reliable, and very quiet — perfect for both work and everyday use. He uses it for managing field data, reports, and video calls, and everything runs smoothly.
The 2-in-1 touchscreen is a big plus, and the display is sharp and clear. The battery life is solid, and it stays cool even with long hours of use. It also looks great — slim, modern, and lightweight. Definitely a great purchase. We’re both very satisfied!

Exactly what I was searching for - a lot of research went into my choice and it happened to be on sale when I decided what I needed. This checks all the boxes for me: lightweight yet good size screen, beautiful color/display, great battery life, backlit keyboard with great action, 2 in 1 design, touchscreen, plenty of ports and gorgeous design. Love the midnight blue!

Great Work Laptop

This is an amazing laptop for anything school or work related, its got face id, touchscreen, and it even bends into a tablet which i find pretty neat. Only problem i had so far was that the laptop has got some gpu issues, mainly within its stability, for one it shows gpu artifacts when doing anything gpu instensive (playing any game out there) and for second if your playing anything that may be relatively new like within the past 8 years, it tends to crash and closes your game, BUT thats all fine if your just buying this laptop for work like i did so no worry

This is a dream come true. It is light, yet powerful. I travel a lot , and usually have to make compromises with what I use a laptop for if I don't bring my workhorse laptop. I brought this with me on a recent 3 week trip- it did everything that I needed ( video/ photo editing,AI , documents, and even some Madden 25 gaming. 3 pounds lighter than what I would have normally carried!

The OmniBook 2-in-1 laptop packs an impressive punch in a sleek, portable design. With a 14-inch display, 16GB of memory, and a spacious 1TB hard drive, it handles daily tasks with ease and provides ample storage for games, media, and work files.
One of the standout features is its portability. It’s lightweight and compact, making it perfect for on-the-go use—whether you're commuting, working remotely, or simply moving from room to room. The 2-in-1 functionality adds versatility, allowing users to switch seamlessly between laptop and tablet modes.
Performance-wise, this laptop holds its own in gaming. Running Call of Duty titles was a smooth experience, with responsive gameplay and minimal lag. While it may not match the raw power of a dedicated gaming rig, it’s a solid option for casual gamers who need a balance between performance and portability.
Overall, the OmniBook 2-in-1 is a reliable choice for those seeking a compact yet capable device. Whether for work, travel, or gaming, it offers the flexibility and performance to meet a variety of needs.

I actually came in the store with my daughter to get her a new computer and the HP-Omnibook was recommended. I was impressed with the laptop overall. It's very easy to use. I was able to install microsoft and adobe acrobat by myself. I am very technically challenged so I was happy when I figured this out. I like the blue color and I like that the keyboard lights up. So far I have only used a small fraction of what I know the computer can do. It has good battery life and the picture quality is nice. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member.

I bought the laptop at 695 USD. For the price, it is an absolute steal. Battery is alright. Lasts around 10 hours on moderate usage, which is an extrapolation based on my usage with a mobile/tablet charging at times and a monitor connected lasting 7 hours. Video playback battery life is quite a feat. Coming to the screen, while it is a good screen with nothing to boast about, there's a lot of glares. I don't like that when working in a well-lit environment. I am considering a matt-screen guard to lower the reflections. Regarding performance, I don't have a complaint yet. I do heavy programming at times, which might not run well on this machine, compared to 8th gen i7 + nvidia 2070 I was used to before. The boot time is also on the slower side. However, I am willing to accept that compromise based on the price I got this machine for, especially with the battery life. Regarding keyboard and trackpad, I have zero complaints. Regarding the tilt feature, I absolutely love it. I can put it any position and it stays, and the touchscreen then helps tremendously. Coming to the ports, I love that I can charge with both the type-c ports. It charges adaptively I think, which is really good for the long-term battery health. Overall, I love it for $695 device.
