I finally upgraded my 5 year old Dell with a Q6600 processor to the HP Slimline on the Black Friday Sale and very pleased I did. This computer will do everything that 95% of the buyers will need. The downside is if you want to upgrade this system is not the easiest to do. It does not have a second open hard drive space available due to space of the Slimline. It does have a couple M.2 Expansion Slots on the motherboard which I added the 250GB Samsung 960 EVO NVMe SSD as my boot drive (which it now boots in about 10-15 seconds. I downloaded the software to clone the OS from the Samsung website and it worked great. I also had a WD iCloud that I rarely used even though it's been hooked up for a year, so I Shucked the 3 TB WD Red HD out of it and put it in to replace the 1 TB drive that came with the system. On Black Friday I also bought a 4TB WD External Portable HD to back up my system. If the power supply goes out on this HP Slimline system I suspect it will cost much more than a regular inexpensive one you normally can get at Best Buy. Also the video PCIe slot will require a special video card if you want to upgrade your video as well and if you do want to upgrade the video card keep in mind that the current power supply is only 180watt so you would most likely need to upgrade the power supply. Overall I really like this system and can't wait to start using it as my main computer.

This is a nice home computer with a great processor and RAM spec for price. It also has enough ports for moderate users. I wish it had an SSD instead of a traditional HDD. The HDD slows down overall use. I’m currently searching for a way to upgrade to an SSD for the OS. I’d like to keep the 1 TB drive for extra storage. However, there’s only one hard drive slot.

We bought two of these desktops while they were on sale. theyhad a lot of good features in a compact size. We have had them for about 2 weeks now and so far we like them very much. They are quick and responsive.

Say what you will about Windows 10 but this desktop makes it shine. The combination of lots of RAM and the i7 processor provides for great performance. And yes in the long run, it is worth the cost.

Super fast i7 processor with plenty of RAM. Had nothing but a pleasant experience with this computer. Set it up in about thirty minutes to fully booted up. Got it on Black Friday for a killer deal!

Every 3 to 5 years my wife updates her desktop for her small business. She liked the size and specs of this model. And for almost half off it was a good deal. She is happy with her new CPU.

Nice and fast and quiet. Read other reviews that said the fan is noisy, but ours is very quiet. Runs fast. Also got it on sale for $500

Getting a Intel Core I7 and 12gb RAM for the $499 Black Friday price is a fantastic value. Works great and slim design allows me to place on my Home Office desk.

This PC comes with the Intel i7 processor and it all fits in a nice small mini tower that sits nicely on my desk. Easiest computer yet to set up and get running.

More CPU then most need, enough RAM to handle most any task, and a decent HDD. I wish it had a SSD instead of an optical drive. But I may do that myself.

This is a nice desktop computer, setting it up was very easy and had no problems at all. It is fast and well worth the price. I would buy it again.

I like the performance but the noise bothers me specially at night. It goes up and down. Is this HP's normal problem? Are they working on this problem? I want to exchange it but I'm too busy using it on my photo shop project.

Didn’t really need all the power. But for the price I said why not. It works great running our back office point of Sale and our daily tasks.

This is a very good desktop. You can't get Intel i7 processor with 12GB RAM in $499. Perfect for my 11 year old kid for education and games.

Fast processor, 12G RAM, large hard drive. One minus was no internal speaker. Needed to buy speakers. Not a big deal, just surprising.

Small footprint. I have it on my desk next to the monitor and the sound from it is noticeable but not annoying. It does run faster than my previous computer.

Bought it online during Black Friday. I was on a budget of 600 USD and when I found this deal there wasn't any other better. I was able to install the Pc yesterday. First time Windows 10 user here, the Pc is really fast compared to my i3 laptop & really quiet too. I don't hear any sound as some people has mentioned. Great computer for the price, AAA+. Best of all, if you guys are planning to install a Graphic Card, I did a research and seems like there are two low profile graphic card that can fit this case.
