I have now worked on this computer after making all settings friendly to me. Computer is Superb looking, good handling, light weight, keys and mouse is good could be better if used mac touch pad is better then this. Screen resolution is good. My only problem is that eventhough I have updated all my drives the HD Display driver blinks some time for a second and then it says it recovered. It seems it is problem with all hp computers as I bought another 2 in 1 hp for my son it does the same thing. My other problem is computer gets hot at bottom when on charging and especially when playing any game. If these two problems are taken care by hp then this computer is better then any in the industry. I checked all Samsung, Toshiba and Mac but this version of hp looks and capable of more things. This particular model is close to 4k ultra hd display and also it has Samsung ssd hard drive. Wish it had nvidea graphic card. Right Now, This is the best Computer of this kind. Lenova is too cheap looking. I am really enjoying this computer after sony which was great. You can also buy and enjoy the perfection and looks.

ALMOST flawless... but still best I've ever owned.

I'm astonished at the average rating for this computer, at least at the time of this review. This is without a doubt the sexiest, sleekest, fastest, and powerful laptop I have ever owned. I purchased the i7 Skylake model with 512 GB SSD and the gorgeous copper finish. If you haven't seen this computer in real life, you owe it to yourself to do it. It looks amazing. I'm not alone in this: I get compliments on it all the time. It's very fast, handles lots of tasks at once with aplomb (we're talking Photoshop Elements, Email, browser with several tabs open, PagePlus, Songza all at the same time)... zero stutter. The 2650x1440 QHD screen is SUPER sharp and the colors super rich with deep blacks. I was also considering the Lenovo Yoga 900 (also a great computer) with supposedly an even higher resolution but side-by-side, I preferred the screen of the Spectre. Be warned that with all QHD displays, some apps like remote desktop sessions don't scale well and will look sharp, but with *tiny* fonts and buttons. Additionally, QHD displays suck power more than computers with lower native resolutions. Even if I'd known this I still would have gotten this QHD model (again, I can't get past its beautiful face), but others might want to opt for the 1920 x 1080 Full HD display - it's still plenty sharp but cheaper, more useful, and more battery efficient than QHD displays. Speaking of displays, I love the versatility of this computer. I use the different modes (laptop, tent, presentation, tablet) far more than I'd ever imagined... another computer I'd been considering was the also excellent Dell XPS, which is merely a classic laptop. I would have missed out, had I gotten it. Another thing I have to mention on this computer is the keyboard. I am a physician and this is also serves as my computer... I type all day on this thing, still maintaining good eye contact with my patients (an important skill!), with many fewer errors thanks to this wonderful keyboard. The layout is logical, the spacing just right, and the key travel excellent. I found it much better than the cramped Yoga 900's keyboard. It's right up there with the MacBook Pro. Some people complain about the backlight not having dimming settings, and I suppose I agree... but that's really nit-picking. Flaws? Very few. I wish I had the battery life of the FHD x360, but I knew what I was getting with the QHD display. The trackpad is just okay, and I've had to get used to its size. I know HP included that so that users could have more room for Windows 10 trackpad gestures... I'm learning them as I go and may change my mind on this. Overall though, this is easily the best laptop I've ever owned, and I've owned some really good ones. I highly recommend you give it a look.

This pc is unlike any other I've seen. The looks of it are incredible. The speed is good. The ssd is as fast you will find in this price range. It could be better if it allowed for a ram upgradw of some sort. Also ethernet port would be handy at times but I knew that wasnt available when i bought it

I finally accepted that I'm not a tablet person, so I gave up the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and went looking for a laptop that would actually sit on my lap. I like the slim design of the macs, but will never buy a mac. The Spectre has a really nice overall feel, along with a comfortable keyboard. The touchpad is way too big, but I never use touchpads so I always disable them. I used to buy Dells because I got a work discount, but every model I've ever had burned up my legs because they got so hot... so I refused to buy another one. I use HPs a lot at work and they've been relatively reliable (as reliable as a computer can be) so I figured I'd get an HP. Best Buy advertised having the Samsungs...but didn't actually have them. I was in a time crunch so I chose this one. Windows 10 is too new and nothing works with it, the auto updates are a nightmare. The Windows App Store hasn't worked since the first week I bought the computer but from the few apps I managed to download, they are poor quality compared to Android apps. I should have waited and bought the Samsung because at least my TV and phone would be easily integrated. And of course, it overheats just like the Dells did and I can't keep it on anything but a hard surface. So overall, laptops are really all the same. If you game, you need the best processors and graphics, if you don't, buy something cheap because you won't notice most of the things that drive the cost up on you.

I try to research about products prior to a major purchase. After learning about the recent multitudes of tablets and such, my husband and I went to Best Buy. A knowledgeable young man spent time with us and gave us several appropriate recommendations. We ended up leaving and returned the next day to make our purchase. This interaction with the Best Buy staff made us comfortable with spending even more on an upgrade and additional items. As for the computer, it's everything we wanted. My husband gets compliments on his choice of laptop and several coworkers say they want to upgrade to this. Skipping past the fact that it's a superior operating system, fast, lightweight, extremely small for the power... It looks classy and unique. Rather than a typical look, this is a black case with bronzed gold accents. Super classy when you bring it to a meeting, everyone talks about it. Can't say enough about the computer and the superb performance. But am of an age when customer service matters, too. We have now gone back to Best Buy for several more significant purchases based on their knowledge on the products and our desire to enhance our home technology with the success of this purchase. Oh,and their price match guarantee seals the deal.

This is a fabulous computer. I can really use it in my lap instead of a desk. My main use is to go through hundreds of photos, and being able to touch them to select them saves a huge amount of time and mouse action. II love the looks, and the size, and it easily fits in my camera backpack. The only issue I have is that some software, like Adobe bridge, has incredibly tiny font. Then other Adobe products like lite room consider this a mobile device, and you get that version of their software. But the computer itself is really nice.

The computer has lots of ports including HDMI, 3 USB 3 ports, a full HDMI and a mini display port along with an SD card slot. The display is beautiful and so is the computer itself. The edges are copper colored. The 500 GB SSD is a plus. The battery life excels. I could not find all of these features in other Windows computers in this price range. The keyboard and trackpad are nice. Build quality is good. The speakers are below average. Otherwise, I would have given this 5 stars.

I love the flexibility of the spectre for use both at home and when traveling. It's lightweight but still very powerful. Being a touchscreen gives me more options with the programs I use. The only issue I've had has been with the display or graphics card freezing and needing to restart. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

The picture quality is truly the best part of this laptop, as it is very crisp and bright. Apart from that, the laptop is very fast to load, it's silent, it does not get hot, and it hardly weighs a thing. It's also just beautiful to look at from the outside, and I appreciate that from HP. My only qualm is the mouse pad, which can be way oversensitive to touch when I'm trying to type or right click. This is not a frequent problem, however, and I would still get this laptop again given the choice.

I was debating wether to go with Dell or HP. Finally, I decided on this one. I had only used the computer once or twice before it asked for an update (no problem). Once I updated the O.S and the HD driver, the screen no longer worked. it would black out ever 15 sec regardless of using any application. Because it had already been 30 days I couldn't return it. Instead I took it to a PC tech. Who couldn't tell me what was wrong. I took it to the PC tech because I figured it would be faster than going through the HP warranty. Finally called HP and they said I might have a corrupt driver (great customer service). I had to ship it to them. Before this problem occurred it worked great. I love the SSD and how fast it boots up. Wish they had one with more Ram. Beautiful design and light weight.

This laptop is fast. the SSD and i7 processor, coupled with Windows 10 makes start-ups fast, access to programs fast and with the awesome wireless card, it screams on my FIOS network with an AC Router. Much faster than my previous laptop with an N adapter. The price is not for the feint of heart that are looking at budget computers, but if you want something to use with photoshop or other intensive programs, this one will handle what you throw at it.

I bought this PC as a replacement for a Lenovo Thinkpad that had been dropped one too many times. Had a small glitch at first (RTC kept jumping the date ahead random numbers of days when re-started). A BIOS Update (easy peasy) cured that prob! It is super light weight and has a great form factor. It's called the X-360 for a reason and it is easy to use as a laptop, tablet, entertaniment center etc. We are running Windows 10 and it is pretty fast. It is a great box for our uses. If you are a hard core gamer this will probably be a non-starter, but for the rest of us it's OK!

I like laptop. it's fast and works well in most respects except the intel graphics driver it causes problems with various things mainly the desktop background it will go to black background for some reason. The driver occasionally fails and then restores when accessing web sites. I'm afraid to do updates on the driver because i did one and it was worse, I had to go back with restore. I would guess it has to do with the higher resolution its trying to support and not doing a good job of it. even though I have this problem I believe and hope HP will finally get the problem fixed. I really like this laptop so even with this problem I recommend buying

So I purchased the 13.3" Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop. Fully loaded with 8 Gb RAM, a 512 Gb SSD and an i7 Intel Core. I got the ash/silver version and trust me it is one gorgeous machine. With only 8 Gb of RAM and a 512 Gb SSD I wasn't expecting a data cruncher but it has held its own with all office products I have loaded and also with some Autodesk 3D rendering software I am testing out. I hook the laptop up to a docking station and work with an external HD for storage of larger files. I am really impressed with the flexibility and solid feel of the laptop. It runs what I need it to run, the touchscreen works great and the stylus I purchased separately does the job for written projects and fine renderings as I work with various programs. My only complaint is the laptop gets hot underneath. When connected to the doc or sitting on my desk there is no issue as I do not believe it gets hot enough to be dangerous. When I am on the go however, the heat generated on the bottom left side of this machine makes it extremely uncomfortable to keep on my lap as I work in various locations without tabletops. This is not a deal breaker as I love everything else about the laptop; just be warned that wearing shorts or thin dress pants is not advisable if this LAPtop is going to be placed on your lap for any extended period of time.

This is my second spectra 360 since buying one last year. My wife liked it so much and used it all the time, we had to buy another one to save the marriage. Seriously, this is a great laptop! The best on the market between tablet and laptop for those who may be in school and need to type papers to those just wanting a quick way to check the bank account. I originally bought the surface pro 3 and tried it for a couple weeks and returned it. This spectre 360 is head and shoulders better than that...best ever! My mom liked it so much that she bought one for herself too. Can't say enough about how much we love this product. If I had to list negatives...it gets a little warm, but not that bad and the painted keys start wearing off after about 10 months of heavy use.

Overall, I love my new HP. It is so light, beautiful, and has unbeatable specs for the price. I did countless hours of research before buying this laptop and had it narrowed down to the Lenovo Yoga 900, Razer Blade Stealth, Dell XPS 13, and this one. I am thrilled with the weight and size, design, and display. I am pretty picky about keyboards and this one is more than decent. Nicely spaced and full size keys. Plus I love the SD slot, volume and lighting keys, and the small charger. For downsides, I am still adjusting to Windows 10 (not the laptop's fault) and I'm not a huge fan of the giant trackpad. I have small hands so it is a bit unwieldy at times and I had to make lots of adjustments in the settings. It still isn't perfect, but it's really my only complaint about the computer. I feel like it's not always super responsive and it accidentally senses my palm a lot. Other than that, it's a solid (and gorgeous) machine that I hope to have around for a long time! I will say that I think the quality is above that of the Lenovo and it really is a high-quality built laptop.
