This is an excellent Laptop. I purchased HP 17.3" Intel Pentium 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD Touchscreen Laptop from HSM and my daughter truly loved it. So I purchased the 14” HP. Same color, rose gold/champagne and she absolutely love it. It doesn’t take up much space on her desk and the hardware is great. I would definitely purchase again. Perfect for my High School Sr.

This computer was bought last minute to work from home and for school work and it is amazing for both. It moves quickly so I’m not waiting forever for things to load. I love it. And the color is so pretty and smooth. It was a little tricky to set up at first but not impossible.

LIGHT WEIGHT LAPTOP FOR TRAVELING TO SCHOOL/WORK

Laptop is amazing light weight. Once charged to 100%, it will last me 1 to 2 days before needing to be fully charged again. Not much memory but easily solved by a simple USB or using a cloud service. Saved money from not needing to purchase first year of office 365. would recommend to your average college student for classwork and online classes as long as they had an alternative to saving documents.

Bought this laptop for my 7 yr old daughter to use for school at home. Charged it last night and unplugged it (wasn't on the charger overnight). She was able to use it all day today for school from around 7:40 am-2:40 pm on a single charge but it needed to be charged at that point (think it was on 18%). She doesn't usually get started that early but she was excited about her new laptop! So it will for sure last on one charge during her regular 8:35-2:40 day. She did a few assignments on Google Classroom (used Edge browser) that involved being in Google Docs, saving and attaching files, clicking links from there that brought her to YouTube to watch videos and she also had 2 Google Meet classes no problem. We also printed. All smooth transitions. The only issue I ran into was when she was in a Google Meet live class and I was trying to open the sound settings to switch from her bluetooth speaker to her headphones and it wouldn't open until after she hung up (maybe that's normal?) It boots up quickly and moves fast enough for what we need it for. We didn't notice any delays opening anything. It ships with Windows 10 in S mode which means you can only use Microsoft apps (apparently making it more secure) but you can switch out of that mode (but not back to S if you decide to). I haven't found the need to switch yet and have actually been enjoying the Edge browser being a Chrome person for many years. Have no need for Office either since her school uses Google. Cortana works great and the Windows 10 experience is such an improvement from previous versions. The casing of the laptop feels pretty cheap but that's to be expected for the cost. Shows fingerprints quickly on the body since it's a matte. The screen is glossy and not matte/anti-glare. It is lightweight and perfect for her though...maybe too lightweight because when she tries to take her headphone jack out she has to hold the laptop down! (She didn't have to do that with my heavy 7yr old 15.6" relic laptop she was using before this, ha!) I bought her the Logitech M187 wireless mouse to use with it since it's small in size and easier to use than the trackpad (oh and that's a nice smooth experience). The keyboard feels good too. It does take an SD card (and not micro) and doesn't charge with a USB-C charger like my son's HP Chromebook...both newer technologies but it does have an HDMI port which his doesn't but we'll use more especially to project her laptop for gym and dance classes onto our TV! I personally find a laptop makes for an easier experience for kids to do remote school/learning than a tablet and this price point is perfect.

Pros: Price was great and I absolutely love how lightweight it is, however I purchased this for work and the speed is extremely slow.
Cons: speed is slow, could be for kids in school however I would not recommend this for adults utilizing for multiple business purposes.

I can only recommend this product to two types of people, for the people that only need a short term computer that can’t run demanding programs from 2012+ and to people who know how to make compromises, because this product requires a ton. If you plan to use this long term, some of the compromises you’ll have to make includes getting a external hard drive or upgrading the internals because I don’t think anybody can work with 64gb of storage for long term especially considering windows 10 takes like 1/3 of the storage.
Another compromise includes getting a mouse, I have to admit, one of the biggest flaws in this product is the trackpad. It. Is. Terrible. Don’t even try messing with it, you will get an headache. It thinks your clicking, double clicking and doesn’t even detect touch sometimes when you’re just trying to go from one side of the screen to the other.
But not considering some of the compromises you have to make, this laptop isn’t half bad. It stays moderately cool, battery life is about 4-6 hours, can run video games pretty well (old video games like Fallout 3 at 40-60 FPS and Garry’s mod at 20-40), looks visually appealing, and is easy to get around with.
I personally took it with me on my vacation and used it to watch a few movies and play some video games, the displays nice. The laptops not perfect, it’s actually far from it, but it gets the job done.

I usually use my iPhone to check my email, surf, etc. I bought this computer for those rare occasions that I cannot use Safari and need an actual web browser for which this little Windows netbook gets the job done. I can surf, shop, use Office 365, check and send emails while also being able to use this laptop to stream my favorites shows from Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.
The laptop has no internal hard drive aside from the 60GB required to run the Windows 10 software. It does; however come with an SD reader, a couple of USB ports, and a 10-hour battery.
A perfect computer for a household with kids that need to learn how to use a computer or may need access to learning programs (such as ABC Mouse) that are internet-based.
Hope this review helps.
