Love that we didn't have to spend a whole lot of money to get my daughter what she needed for basic school work. Streaming video tutorials helps a lot when we're stuck as well! Speed is pretty quick, Also picked up a 128GB flash drive (mini SanDisk) to allow for additional space which is always appreciated when working on projects. I'm hoping she gets at least 3 years out of it before she determines if she wants to get into graphic design or video and needs something more powerful.

I like that it's very lightweight, but it also breaks easily. There's always updates and sometimes it runs slow.

I wanted a small less expensive laptop for work so I bought this one. The size i right, it comes with windows 10 and I transferred my work files. It works fine but it is extremely slow and I mean extremely slow. While it does what I wanted, I might have to return it due to the slow speed and it gets very hot which is also troubling for me.

This laptop was purchased for my 11 year old daughter. It's perfect for her, and she's been doing school work and playing games on it a lot. She doesn't complain about anything lagging on it. With the solid state drive, it's plenty fast for her. The addition of the micro sd card is a nice touch to store tons of photos and music. Well worth the money.

The computer works just fine but sadly the screen keeps getting dark on the edges. So will be taking it back.

    Solid Little Machine

I've been a fan of the "disposable" computer for about five years now; it wasn't until about three years ago that they became really affordable. To be clear buying this machine and loving it is a question of your use case. Me, I write screenplays and novels in my off-hours and do some light-usage stuff when I am out and about -- I email, do some social media, watch the occasional video on Netflix, or stream some other piece of content. My needs were light-ish with the largest screen I could get for the money, 4G of RAM w/o having to do an upgrade and more than a 32G SSD. For what it is, this is fairly durable and it's not a fingerprint magnet. I can take it out and about and don't have to worry about how it holds up constantly... and it's held up well. For the cheap laptop keyboards in this class, this is the best one by far and I would argue that for a machine without a spinning drive, you're not going to find a better deal. The screen is passable for reading, it's not retina but I don't need it to be, the sound is quite good considering it's trickery that enables the machine to be as loud as it is -- the reflective sound does just fine. The thing is, every year the new "disposable" laptops have the stuff that the previous years models that were $150.00-200.00 more have. It wouldn't surprise me to see M3's in these machines within a year or two. For most people that aren't super heavy content users, gamers, and just need a light machine this machine is GREAT. It's a case of managing your expectations; it's exactly what it's marketed to be. If it breaks, it's not the end of the world... you don't have to worry about extra protection for it... and I can consistently get 6 hours or more with wifi on and 50% screen brightness. No, it's not backlit, but again, I don't need it to be. Think of it this way, if you're a writer is it worth $20/mo - $1/day to have a computer that can help you accomplish your goals with a few other distractions but not tons? For me that's a yes... and I know I will move to the next new model in 2018. But that's the thing... I'm looking for something that isn't as capable, that I can use almost entirely as a distraction free writing device. For writers, or perhaps liberal arts and humanities majors, it's a hard deal to beat for what you get.

This was a great starter (or second "starter") computer for my daughter. A great value, it was affordable to get her her own computer, instead of sharing with her brothers. Great touch-screen and voice prompt/control set-up as well.

This computer is insanely slow and literally cannot handle any type of software. I am a nursing student so I occasionally have to use a software for a test or for my clinical and this computer didn't even last past the second day of school. If you're a student this is not the way to go. Just to give you an example of how slow it was, it took an hour to load a powerpoint in class.

If you're looking for a top of the line gaming laptop, keep moving. But if you just need something to do some school work, surf the internet, etc., then this little guy is perfect. Great value for the price.

Bought this for traveling and I am pleased with this purchase. Easy to set up, light weight, keyboard feels good when typing, and the color is a bonus. Primary use is music streaming and use of Microsoft office docs. Good value and even when I’m home I tend to use this laptop over my 17” HP. Highly recommended purchase

This laptop is garbage. It's so full of bloatware it cannot even boot properly, load basic apps or word processors, much less open a browser. This thing is a $250 paperweight. I am returning to Best Buy to tear them a new orifice about how astronomically awful this thing is. Don't ever buy this brand.
