I bought this for my son to produce music on as the specs satisfied the requirements for the software he will be using. This is a Christmas gift. I will update this review after he gas had an opportunity to use the laptop.

I love my hp Victus I use mine for gaming it’s upgradable so don’t worry about the ssd and ram and I use it as my main pc to stream this is not a ai review just a honest one broddie

I have had this laptop for quite some time and it has supported all of my games. Action games are very smooth.

Doesn't play all the new games well but still a solid laptop especially when on sale upgrade the ram and you got a solid laptop for a good price

I’ve had this for about two months and the gameplay is really smooth and everything runs great! I play Sims 4, Valorant, and Rainbow 6 Siege.

This drains around 2 to 4 hours. It doesn't last 8 hours that's misinformation

Bought this for my son he loves it! Frame rate is GREAT, no glitching or freezing. Buying experience was amazing as well workers were very transparent and welcoming to all questions

I've used this PC for about 2 months now and rhe experience hasn't been great. It lags with basic tasks, the fan is noisy too and the battery is poor. I'm searching for a battery replacement at the moment.

They describe as excellent a laptop that arrives with a fault on its screen, a stain and then they do not want to respond for the guarantee, very disappointed, I lost my money because neither HP nor Best buy wants to return my money

The other reviews are good and all, but some of them just don’t give a realistic idea of what you are going to be dealing with using this laptop. The bad reviews, ignore them, they only talk about the bad. The very positive reviews, ignore those too, because they will set you up with false hope. Here’s what you’ll actually experience with this laptop. If you are looking to game everyday while playing high demanding games, ignore this laptop. The price looks so good, I know, because that’s why I got it. But this laptop cannot and will not run any main title games smoothly without some setbacks. Maybe a couple years ago when games were a bit less demanding, but not now. Realistically you will only get a minimum of 60 frames if you play on the absolute worst settings, and I mean it. Not even medium settings for most games can run smoothly. Even games like roblox lag a bit. The laptop even lags with two chrome tabs open. Not to mention the battery only lasts a maximum of one hour of gaming unplugged. No I am not exaggerating. Find out for yourself. The speakers are okay, loud enough for most cases but even in a quiet room I find myself needing to turn the volume to at least 60. The screen is good honestly, if you aren’t used to anything spectacular. A bit dim if I’m being honest but I mostly play games im the dark so I don’t mind it. The keyboard is solid, no complaints except that you can’t customize the colors or brightness of the keyboard if I’m not mistakened. It is fairly lightweight, playing with it in your lap for an extended amount of time is not a chore. The build quality is plastic but it does not feel cheap. I like the build quility because the plastic allows it to be lighter. Here’s the most ideal scenario for this laptop. If you are like me, and you already have a PC/console but just want a cheap laptop you can use when you’re too tired to sit at your desk to game and you want to just chill and do some light gaming before bed, this laptop will be just fine. Or if you are buying this as a gift for a young kid, they’ll be just fine with this laptop. But don’t expect anything more than mediocre. The only reason I dont return this laptop is because I know I’ll only be using it lightly everyday. Plus the price is great. If I have to pay triple of what this laptop costs just to run my games smoother, I’d rather put up with this laptop. So buy this laptop with low expectations and you will find an enjoyable experience. I also ordered more ram so hopefully that makes this laptop better. If it makes a huge improvement, I will write another review.
