That's are good laptop for 900 dollars (buy on sale) Them have very good performance at games (buy them for this) But one thing is not good at all and this is storage coz 479 GB not enough for today In the end it run stalker 2 maximum settings and this is a fantastic

I have purchased this laptop for my son so far we have had it for over 10. Months and has not given no lag issues and display is amazing. I would definitely recommend on buying

It is a great first buy, if you know someone fluent in PC gaming, hit them up to help get you set up with the OMEN gaming performance control setting for the fans to kick on at different cpu/gpu temps, upping the graphic quality, FPS etc etc. I have it strictly set up for gaming so any non-gaming applications went out the window. I use a cooling pad as well to help keep the temps control running heavier games but unsure if the cooling pad goes "against the grain" of the laptop fans.

I was an ASUS fan until recently. I liked the specs on this HP Victus, purchases it and upgraded Ram to 32 GB and 2 TB M2 SSD. So far, it has been working extremely well. Office 2025 is giving me some bugs which I don’t contribute to the laptop. But in general, I have been very satisfied with this laptop. Photoshop has not lagged at all with numerous windows opened at the same time. My old ASUS use to lag at times being older technology. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Awesome. Remember, you’re basically buying this for the GPU/Processor. NO RGB keyboard. (Keyboard is obv fine with out it) SSD & RAM need to be upgraded. It’s worth the money. Plays games flawlessly on Ultra. Red dead redemption 2. Oxygen not included (not gpu but processor). A+ as the old eBay ratings use to be.

Great computer so far. The CPU and GPU stay nice and cool when playing games on ultra settings. No problem getting at least 120fps on a monitor using a usb C to display port cable. That is plugged into power.

Excellent performance vs price laptop when on sale. I got it for $880 during the Black Friday/Xmas sales and then saw it was $850 so I was able to get it price matched with $30 refunded. So far, it has been a great purchase. The keyboard feels fine to me and the screen has been great and clear! The build quality seems to be excellent so far. The laptop is quite slim for what it packs inside and is not heavy. I am extremely pleased with the gaming performance especially at this price level. The fans and cooling do a great job of keeping the CPU and GPU cool even while gaming. I did upgrade to 2x16 (32GB total) DDR5 and a 4TB SSD (replaced the 512GB since there is only 1 slot). This laptop should last me for years.

Good laptop. Able to do 3D modeling and gaming on it with no problems. RAM is a little small. I have to make sure not to many apps are open when 3D modeling or printing. I also have occasional problems getting by BT headphones to connect. They are Bose Quiet Comfort and sometimes when they are connected to my phone and my computer, or if they have been disconnected from my computer (from distance separation or power off) it will not reconnect. It will sometimes connect and disconnect repeatedly. A restart of the computer fixes the problem.

I first picked up the other Black Friday HP Omen deal that came with the 4060 and i-7 CPU. It was all good and fine but then this popped up with a 4070. Testing them both out with Ark ascended which is a seriously high demanding game, The victus was definitely smoother and better obviously because of the upgraded GPU but honestly the AMD processor is the real winner here. So much less power consumption this machine runs nice and quiet in comparison to the omen and there's much less stutter. For the price you can't beat it If you are deciding between this and anything else just go with this you can easily upgrade the SSD and the RAM. ASA on high settings with 90 FPS is a serious deal.

My first laptop, got it for college does great for 3D modeling (and games) the only bad thing would be the battery life but since I’m always near an outlet it’s not the big deal for me

Managed to get this when it was heavily discounted. I have used this for messing around in UE 5.4 learning how to design levels, for full-stack development and for gaming. Haven't had any problems yet. So far everything I have tried to do on this has worked perfectly. The 1080p screen is just fine for what me and the high refresh rate is nice. Also, understand it's a gaming laptop. To get the most of the battery life if you aren't gaming, you'll have to tweak the settings. This is expected from these types of laptops. Would definitely recommend if you can get it on sale. Make sure you plan to upgrade the SSD and look into upgrading to 32gb of RAM to make the most of it.

Have used HP and Lenovo business laptops for work and this is the first gaming laptop purchased. Overall, it is ok. Build quality is no where as good as business laptops I've used. In addition, I'm used to the Home, End, PgUP, PgDN, buttons being separate. On this laptop, you have to turn NUM lock off and use the corresponding keypad with that label.

Works very well and I got it for $900 so I got an amazing deal. Only issue is I wish it had a second ssd slot

This laptop is great out of the box, it does 130+ fps in Starfield at 1440p 65" TV. It comes with 2 GPUs and its set to Hybrid in BIOS. If you have a problem with games being laggy it's probably using the AMD 980M GPU and not the RTX 4070, switching the GPU setting to discrete in BIOS fixes this issue, at least for me it did. After replacing the 512GB drive with Samsung 990 Pro 2TB and getting 64 GB DDR5 RAM (which is an overkill for the basic video editing I do) it is an absolute monster of a laptop. And yes i was extremely skeptical of the GPU being rated to 120W power draw but after getting this laptop I'm convinced that this Rtx 4070 is extremely efficient.

This is an excellent laptop. I bought it as an open-box item, but it looks and performs like new. It works great for both gaming and work. I played Rainbow Six Siege and the performance was outstanding — I was able to run it smoothly at 200 FPS on advanced graphics settings. For work, it's also excellent, especially for me, as I often run Python programs that require heavy matrix computations. Highly recommended!

This laptop can run games really well. Better than some more expensive laptops. Downside is the screen. It’s good enough but compared to the more expensive screens, it lacks brightness and vivid colors. I am happy with the purchase

This laptop is the ultimate portable gaming machine that takes seconds to download and play any game with nice quality. The features including the 5gen ssd slot with 5600MHz ram makes it super fast. Mean while surfing the internet at blazing speeds. Nice!!! Must Have.

the computer is great. cool. will work with llinux. supports 64G mem. has one nvme slot. wifi is realtek. typec-dp is connected with integrated GPU hdmi is connected with dGPU using it as a headless server. the display is not great but fine as a headless server.

So far, this has been the best laptop I've ever used. It runs any game I have at the max settings, and multi-tasking is a breeze. I can have 5 things open at once, and it handles it without a problem. If you like laptops more than PCs like I do, you would love this thing.
