This is the first Xbox microphone I’ve purchased that wasn’t a bottom of the line model. I was tired of purchasing cheap models that never lasted, so I decided to spend a little more money to get something that would last longer. So far, I’ve been very pleased with the product. I would have given 5 stars, but as time has gone on, I feel like the microphone has gotten quieter. When I first got it, if I had the volume turned up all the way, it would be extremely loud in my ears, to the point where people could hear my sound through my mic. It no longer feels that loud, though I may have just gotten used to it. I’m not really sure.

I got these for gaming but they are better sounding than my non gaming headphones so I use them for everything now. Hate wireless stuff so these are great. Just stunning well balanced and crisp sound. Mic works really well. Build quality is just great with a thick braided cable and inline controls (nite and volume). Voted most comfortable headset which is why I got them and they really are comfortable. Pretty light and great memory foam pads. Impressive.

The CloudX are incredible value. I have a lot of headphones, from TurtleBeach Stealth 600s and 700s, to Razer Thresher and Kraven Pro V2s, SteelSeries Arctis... and these HyperX are my new favorite. Super comfortable, solid and sturdy, and the sound quality is fantastic. More solid cord than Razer or SteelSeries. Better microphone as well.

The sound quality is good not great but better than most things in its price range. it fits comfortably on my head although i wish it had felt earmuffs instead of faux leather though. Mic quality is pretty good. The in wire mic controls are convenient as well. Still if your going to spend almost a hundred bucks id recommend on a hyperx headset id recommend the cloud II

The HyperX CloudX Pro is an amazing headset for the under 100 dollars. Without paying a fortune for a pro style headset I think this headset is very good. The mic is easily movable, the ear cups are comfortable for playing extended hours, and the sound quality is very good and provides great spacial awareness especially in battle royale type games where hearing footsteps is a huge deal.

Really nice, mid-priced gaming headset, with some good, essential features. The mic works well and the voice is clear and static-free. The all-around sound is very good quality. And the comfort of the headset is top notch, which is very important when it comes to wearing a headset during gaming for several hours in a row. This would make a great, affordable gift for the gaming fan in your circle, too. Highly recommend it.

I bought this for my kids to play together over xbox. The quality of the construction was most important since they are 11 and 5. The metal frame ensures that they won't snap if they accidentally overextend the frame. Excellent quality sound. Not studio quality but much better than turtle beach and other higher priced, lower quality headsets

I purchased these to replace a 3 year old set of Polks. At first I thought these might be faulty because I couldn't hear chat through them only the game music. I figured they had forgotten to add the adapter that attaches to the bottom of the controller but this model does not require it. It plugs right in the 3.5 jack. I found I had to adjust the chat/music levels under the accessories tab in the Xbox settings. After I did this the headset sounds excellent and really blocks out a lot of noise from in the room. I love this headset now. My only con (not much of one) is the mute slider is on the cable attached to the controller, it can be a little tricky to turn it on if your like me and mute your mic until you're ready to speak. This small con would not stop me from buying again though.

These are great headphones. The sound quality is great. The price point is excellent. The two complaints are they put a lot of drain on your controller batteries since they have to be plugged in. The other issue is they only lasted about a year. Albeit, I replaced them with the exact some pair. Overall, they are terrific with some downsides.

This is my second pair of these headphones and so far so good. The first pair had a malfunction with the wire that comnects to to the headphone itself. I realized that it probably is a problem with how the company ships them. Other than that the new pair works flawlessly. They eat batteries pretty aggressively but I doubt that it's more or less than other wired headphones. Good sound. Good overall

My son play xbox more than he should. This headset was a replacement for one that broke a while ago. The headset has lasted a long time and for daily use and multiple hours of use it still looks brand new. Mic is great no issues. Great all around product for the price.

I’ve been through 10 headsets recently of varying prices 45-100 and brands from turtle beach, Logitech, and plantronics and this is by far the best made by far. Super comfortable with the memory foam head pads and all the materials are top notch! Works great with Xbox one right out the box and the sound is better than some advertised Dolby surround sound options.

Bought this headset for my father for Christmas (he’s a serious gamer lol) he absolutely loves it!! Being able to hear enemy footsteps gives him an advantage in a quick but deadly firefight I definitely recommend it to a friend not only for its quality but because it’s also comfortable you’d forget you were wearing it!! Deeply immersive!!

I originally bought another brand of headset but they kept disconnecting from my Xbox controller so decided to roll with these. Definitely an upgrade over the others. I had a pair of turtle beaches for years but these hyperx are more comfortable and have better sound and bass. Would highly recommend for the price.

I am a gamer. Mostly play COD warzone. This headset lets me hear everything. I can hear where footsteps are coming from and even bullets wiz by. A good friend of mine recommended it to me and they are legit. I can wear them for hours super comfortable. Do not hesitate and just but them.

These HyperX headsets are amazing. It wasn’t too expensive as compared to other headsets and can perform just as well or even better than those headsets. The headset is in the heavier side but I don’t mind it. Highly recommend to those in search of a new headset and don’t want to spend too much.

There are liteweight, sound is great, mic works well. The only issue I have experienced so far is sometimes there is an echo when speaking and when others are speaking (i.e. sounds like when calling out in a canyon). Otherwise, I like them very much. A good value for the purchase price.

I bought these after being disappointed with the steelseries arctis 1. My old hyperx cloud stinger headset finally gave out after a couple years and I decided to upgrade. If you already own a lower end headset from Hyperx these are definitely worth the upgrade.

This is a value purchase. If you want a great headset and are using it for Xbox One, there isn't a better headset for the money spent. It is comfortable enough for a few hours of gaming at a time and you can hear everything going on. The microphone is more than adequate.
