Customers regard the Pulsefire Core Wired Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting favorably, particularly praising its RGB lighting, ease of use, and build quality. Many appreciate the comfortable feel and size, along with the customizable DPI settings. However, some users experienced issues with the scroll wheel and found the software to be less than intuitive. A few also noted accidental clicks on the side buttons.

Who doesn't like RGB lighting? HyperX and their whole line of Pulsefire products are filled with quality and performance. The free HyperX NGENUITY software features LightSync that gives plenty of customized options. I am highly pleased to have paired this mouse with the HyperX Pulsefire Mat XL and Alloy Elite 2 keyboard that color change together, thanks to their LightSync software.

Whether it's your first mouse or a replacement for a broken mouse, this is a great choice in terms of price being low and functionality being just as good as a high-end mouse. It handles FPS games as any other good mouse will. The wire is long and of great quality. Ergonomically, the mouse is small (compared to my now broken mouse), but I didn’t find it to be a problem as it fits the hand comfortably. Finally, the buttons and the extra two programmable buttons click nicely and don’t feel out of the ordinary. If you need a mouse, just get this one, and you're good to go out of the box. One note is that if you're not into RGB like me, then you're going to have to download the HyperX program to turn it off or change it to what you want, as it comes with a rainbow effect out of the box. 10/10.

Rough at first with customization but got used to it. Fantastic for games such as fallout new Vegas and battlefront 2 (2017). The response time was great compared to my previous mouse, which was a Logictech 405 wireless mouse. I noticed with wired vs wireless mouse is the dpi. My HyperX has a higher dpi score then the wireless mouse. The hyper x on my laptop went up to 3,500 dpi while the wireless if I remember correctly was only 3,000 dpi. I do miss the wireless function being able to move around my mouse paid without a wire was nice. But Overall I really enjoyed my purchase.

I have had another one of these mice for about a year. I have loved it. The feel of the click is amazing and the buttons are slightly hollowed in the center making the mouse feel cozier in a way. It has multiple speeds and is overall a great buy even though it has a cord. Also, the bottom of the mouse allows it to glide smoothly across a lot of surfaces.

I got this for $15 on sale and that's probably the max I'd spend on it. First off let's get to the few positives: Shape and performance. For the shape it's surprisingly really nice for claw grip with it's tall hump, narrow grip width, and fairly low buttons which makes you feel really locked in. Now for performance this uses a 3327 sensor which isn't the most high end, but ive had no issues with tracking in-game and I felt the LOD was good enough. Now for the main negative: Build quality. It feels really cheap and the plastic on the main buttons has a lot of give especially the right side. It can be pretty noticable at times when simply resting your fingers. I've used other budget mice at this price point which had way better build quality. Also the software doesn't work on any of my HyperX products as it fails to detect the mouse, this has been a issue for years now for me with no end in sight, so I'm stuck with whatever the default RGB and DPI steps are.
I only recommend this on deep sales and if you like the shape more than other mice.

Does a good job and no issues this far. I’m old school and I don’t mind the wired part. It randomly changes color on its own I’ve never messed with the setting just plugged it in and used it.

Great Mouse, great for those with bigger than average hands like myself, lighting is nice, but you need the software to use it, which is a bit buggy, clicks are nice and satisfying as well. Overall, I’m definitely keeping this mouse for a while.

It looks casual but in real world using its a beast. Also it costs only 20bucks. It is not light, it has some weight and feels very comfy. Excellent choice for both home use and gaming.
