    So the unboxing experience was nice but that was it. You plug it in and it glows red. You can tap it to mute which turns the light off, letting you know it's muted. THEN to change the color settings you need to install the app. This makes you update your mic so the muting function only works when the app is running. It has a toggle to send data back to the company on by default. If you then uninstall the app the light on the mic nolonger works without the software. The crazy part: you can't reset to factory default. This is gross. I will never buy a HyperX product.

    This thing stopped working after 2 months of use. The microphone stopped connecting to my pc and after continuous attempts at trying to plug and unplug it wouldn't connect. Hyperx was very unresponsive with helping me resolve this issue. Since, I have invested into a Shure microphone and it works perfectly fine. AVOID ALL HYPERX PRODUCTS.
