Separation is good for the room size and sub provides plenty of bass. I would not use this for a huge space. The setup is what shines here. No optical audio necessary!! I have tried at least three other major brands and none were as intuitive and simple to set up. This is the unit to purchase for your dorm, apartment to just unbox and be using within the half hour.

Plug and play with TLC ARC with included cable - allows one less remote. Bluetooth surprisingly good. Nothing like full home theater but definitely enhanced audio and dsp help with dialog on many movies.

The installation guide was very easy to follow. Crisp and clear audio, it was perfect for both movies and gaming. The only issue I had was that I couldn’t connect my iPhone 7 to the bar to play music. My phone wouldn’t recognize it as a pairing device.

Have spent two days trying to activate the Bluetooth pairing with all smartphones and tablets in my home but unsuccessful. I have also tried multiple times to reach denon or Best Buy tech support but no luck. This has been a terrible purchase experience.
