A: No, this bar is a non network unit. Our S516H is and supports HEOS. Our S716H can be paired with HEOS / Denon Home speakers to be used as Surrounds. None of our network based bars support Play Fi.
Q: One of my friend said; Polk Signa S2 & Denon DHT S316 are same, technically! Is it so?
A: Externally, they look quite similar. But have you ever heard that looks are often deceiving? Denon has a good reputation in the audio industry. The internals are way better than the cheap Polk. Best Buy even stopped me from buying the Polk because they had too many experiences where people would return them.
Q: How many watts is this soundbar.
A: Hi Steve, The DHT-S316 is an active device - in so much as it is a speaker with it's own proprietary amplifier built-in. Wattage ratings are only of any use when looking at which amplifiers might be compatible with any given speaker pair. The amplifier used for the speaker within the DHT-S316 was designed specifically to bring out the best in it. If a speaker is very sensitive, it may only need 3 or 4 watts to go very loud. If a speaker is insensitive, it might need 50 and 80 watts to go very loud. The reason we do not include the wattage rating here is because it doesn't really tell anybody anything if the speaker and the amplifier have already been correctly matched for performance and power. Optimum performance at realistic listening levels can be achieved with any amount of power depending on how demanding the speaker might prove to be.

Q: Can I control the volume with my comcast remote?
A: undefined
Q: How many watts is the denon soundbar
A: It actually doesn't matter. Wattage only matters when you are looking at partnering an amplifier with separate speakers. This Soundbar is an amplifier and speakers all in one. If a wattage number was quoted it would not necessarily provide any volume or performance guarantees.
Q: what kind of dc power plugg does the dc soundbar need
A: It comes with a two prong power cord for the bass unit and a second one for the soundbar.
