I've never been a fan or believer in electric shavers but I'm now a believer. I have been using the Wahl Foil Shaver for several days now and I can say two things 1. it shaves as good as a razor, and 2. it's a must-have even if you use a razor. I'm increasingly using this as my go to shaver, especially to look clean on weekends at speed. The pop up trimmer is a nice bonus as it means I can clean up sideburns when they get a little untidy. Battery life (rechargeable) is excellent and Wahl deserve a lot of credit for also including a pouch to hold everything when not in use. Very happy.

This was a pretty good alternative to razor shaving leaving behind a close shave with less razor bumps (despite the package claiming no bumps he did experience a few but it was far less than he experienced with the razor). He only used it for facial hair so I can’t speak on how well it works for maintenance with bald men. Time will tell if it holds up and keeps giving good results (it’s been used several times so far) but based on use so far this is worth giving a try.

I love this razor, as someone who has shaved my head for 20+ years now, however, I don't think it would get a good fit if you have linger hair, unless you are just looking for something for your beard. That said, it works great for shaving down to your skin, so regardless of if you are using this on your head or beard, it is great to get down to the skin without bumps. FYI, comes with shaver w/ pop-up trimmer, beard brush, charger, cleaning brush, blade oil, foil guard, and a storage bag.

I got the Wahl Rechargeable Foil Shaver for my husband. He always uses cheap, disposable shavers, so I thought it was time to try something new. He unpacked the box, actually read the instructions (...shocking...), and plugged it in to charge. The shaver was READY in no time! One thing he really liked about it was that you could shave in both directions ... up and down! That's not possible with a blade razor. He also liked the fact that he didn't have to use shaving cream or soap to actually shave; again, something you can't do with a blade razor. Another thing he liked. The Shaver also has a built-in sideburn trimmer, which works very well. The ONLY things he doesn't like about the WAHL SHAVER: You can't use in the shower ... and ... when CHARGING there's no indicator on the shaver OR electrical line that shows the line is plugged in and charging. Adding a small LED light to the line OR shaver would be a simple thing to show that charging is in progress. SO ... OVERALL ... he loves the WAHL SHAVER and would recommend it to anyone!
